Oh yeah and I talked to a lady at work the other day called Dale - has anyone ever heard of Dale as a girls name before? I haven't!

There's an actress named Dale Evans. My HS geometry teacher's name was Dale, too (she's a female).:)

Yep, Erin & Aaron. Actually, they're getting a divorce, so I guess they don't count any more.

I know a Shirley and Shirley AND a Chris and Chris.

Also, my dad is Mike and his sister is Sue. My dad marreid a Sue (my mom) and my aunt married a Mike!

My cousin Chris (Christine) married a Chris.

I used to work with a woman whose parents were Dawn and Don. My best friends parents had rhyming names, Larry and Mary.

Remember Dukakis (sp?)........anyway they were Mike and Kitty, just like me and my hubby!! That's all I can think of for a same name scenerio!:jester: :bounce:

I know another Gene and Jean

Not the same but..I went to school with a Kelly Davis who married Obrian Kelly so that she became

Kelly Kelly

what is most confusing in my family is that my dad's name is Tommy and my husband's name is Tommy. When either my mom or I yell "TOMMY" they both answer!! [actually, they both ignore it most of the time :o ] The really bad part is that every generation has at least 5 people with the name Tommy [my mom AND dad's side of the family] Reunions get confusing!

Not first names, but I do have two sets of friends where she's Beth and he's David.

Not sure I should admit this.....but I had an uncle whose name was Jerry, his wife was named Jeri, and they named their first son, you guessed it, Jerry, but called him Butch. They were known as He Jerry and She Jeri. It is odd, but I grew up with it so I never thought much of it, they were great people. :p
As far as rhyming, my inlaws are Wayne and Lorraine, kind of a tongue twister.

I once dated a Robin and well my name is Robin. lol

Our friends are Meg and Greg :)

My boss' maiden name is Bryant, and she married a Bryant. She said she was a little disappointed, because she always wanted to hyphenate.

During my first marriage my x's name was Mike and 1st ds Michael, 2nd ds Matthew. my cousin Traci was also married to a Mike, with a Michael but her 2nd ds was Maxwell. I know my grandma had the hardest times with that.

My name is Shannon. My SO's SIL is named Shannon, his cousin in law is named Shannon, he has 2 cousins named Shannon. His ex-niece in law is named Shannon. 2 of the Shannons have the same last name. 3 of us lived about 200 yards from each other.

When one of my cousins got married, my grandmother got really upset. His dw's name was Shannon. She thought I had married my own cousin. To her, there was only 1 Shannon she knew in the world.;)

I knew a lady named Teri who married a guy with the last name Terry, making her Teri Terry.

My best friend in high school Kris (Kristian) had a stepbrother named Chris (Christian). It was sort of goofy, but when you called the house you had to ask for Krisgirl or Chrisboy.

My cousins are the most unusual in this respect that I've ever seen. There are six kids in the family. The kids have spouses with the siblings' names. It is so weird.

One of my friends prefaced her introduction to me as, "You'll never forget my name... it rhymes!" and she was right!
