Hi Sam, you picked out some really nice dresses but I like number 1, it's so feminine and graceful the little sleeves look really pretty on you. I also love number 4 the lace is so glittery very fairy tale princess and the train on it is lovely You're going to look so beautiful

Thanks Jenny! I thought I had seen that dress somewhere on here before lol! She showed me it bowed or tied... I like the bow, I think it looks really sweet. You will look unbelieveable in in!

Hello! I read through your entire planning journal over the weekend and basically made this account so I could comment...

I love all of the ideas you have so far! And I am sorry that you may need to find a new dress, but have you considered looking into Spanx? It's an undergarment which has helped many a bride fit/look amazing in their dress. Most department stores carry it, so maybe you could check that out? Or visit spanx.com.

But if you do have to go for a new dress, I think #8 looks amazing on you! I like that it gives you more of an hourglass shape compared to the other one you like. Very pretty!

Aww thanks Sarah! Your so sweet! I actually should have stock in spanx lol! I lovvvve them, I am going to get a new one for the wedding but am waiting until I know what style dress I am going with so I can get the right one. I also have a few of the Dr Rey ones too, they work awesome too!

Oh it is going to be a tough choice for sure, I am so indecisive lol! I am trying to show DF pictures online of dresses to see what he likes because that may help me choose, but he can be worse then me lol!

Hi there everyone!

I got some Mickey mail on Friday afternoon that I was super excited about.... yup you guessed it our contract came back from DFTW!!! I am officially a Disney Bride now lol

And.... we also got...

our AP's!!!!! Our WC sent us a really nice note with them too! I was so excited to get them!!!

I haven't done much other "wedding stuff" lately, just kind of passing the days until we leave (13 BTW...). But I did got some good news, my grandma is going to come to the wedding! She wasn't sure because of her health, but she going to make the trip with my uncle! So I am very happy about that . She told me to look into scooter rentals for her lol! I have no clue where to even start on that one!

I agree with you (and many of the other girls), dress 3 and dress 8 are beautiful and look gorgeous on you! I must say that dress 8 is very very flattering on your figure. But I love the soft romantic feel that dress 3 has. Either way, you can't go wrong! You look lovely in all of them!

Ok, well first of all, I am so sorry about your situation with the dress from your GrandmotherI will keep my fingers crossed and say a prayer for you that something can be worked out. If you can't get it altered for you have you thought about incorporating it other ways? I would totally understand if you didn't want to take the dress apart but my friend did something that might work for your to still have the sentimental value to the wedding. She wanted to wear her mother's dress but it was like size 00000000 so (with her father's blessing) she used the fabric from the dress to make her bouquet wrap, her ring bearer pillow and the table overly for the table that had the remembrance candle that they lit in honor of her mother. Just a suggestion

Second, if you absolutely end up having to go with another dress I think you look stunning in your #1 choice (and you can tell you are completely comfortable in it) and my second favorite is the one that tied in the back that you think was a new dress in stock

Mmmm it is yummy, you should def go! Around us they do a "Girls Night Out" for $25, you get cheese fondue, salad, chocolate fondue, and a cocktail so not a bad deal! And last night they gave everyone at the table little goody bags with nailpolish and a gift card for the next visit! The food is sooo yummy!

ooh yeah it will be great to show them the dresses! let us know what they think to!!

Hi Twin, thanks! Thats strange with your WC, who is your planner now btw? I bet you will have more luck with them lol! The strange thing about ours were both of our names were on the envelope but the post office wouldn't let DF pick it up because they said he wasn't "authorized"... very bizarre.

thanks Shannon, I am hoping for some good news when I take the dress to the seamstress on Saturday. All I know is I cannot wear a corset back dress, they look awesome but I have disc problems and the corset puts so much pressure on it. I had on the corset type shapewear at David's Bridal and after an hour my back killed, I couldn't imagine doing it for a whole day. But I will keep my fingers crossed anyways

I love what your friend did, such a great idea! I actually tried on my mom's wedding dress the same night I tried on mine and she was itty bitty! I couldn't get it on lol! She was like "I was that little", but in all seriousness I am trying to figure out what I am going to do with it. If I can't wear it I really want to see what my options are and I love the sentimentality of that idea you mentioned.

Thats so funny, the dress that tied in the back is Jenny's dress (MrsDisneyB2B). I liked it alot but I couldn't figure out where I had seen it before lol! Then Jenny reminded me. I think the dress I picked is my #1 choice if I need it... the cool thing is that it is also the least expensive

Ok Ladies, I made the choice... it was tough but I am going with my gut. I am going to go with dress #3 the flowy romantic one. I tried it on again last night and loved it

Although, my MOH and BM who came with me are great, my MOH kept being really strange... she was kind of banking on being MOH in her other friends wedding too, but she was asked to be BM not MOH, so she is really upset by it... Anyways, she kept being super critical about all the dresses and just sort of had a negative attitude the whole time. She was poking at all the spots were dresses bulged or puckered (they were not all my correct size btw, so it wasn't uncommon) but she was being rough about it, like she was taking out her anger about her other friend on me! Then she kept wispering about all the dresses to my BM, but not softly! I heard everything! She was saying things like "I really like the other one, she looks better in it, but for some reason she likes this one" I was getting pretty annoyed! Also, my BM saw a really pretty champagne colored dress and asked me if I would try it on. I said "yes" and I ended up liking it too, it wasn't something I would've picked but i thought it was really nice! Well this made MOH mad because I liked BM's dress choice more then the one she picked for me...

Also, she kept announcing to anyone who would listen that out of the 3 of us there, she was the only one NOT engaged. My BM picked on that and wasn;t sure how to react withier, we shouldn't have to justify/apologize that we are engaged and happy! Anyways I just needed to vent a little. MOH is going through some tough stuff with her guy, but she is just making it really tough to be supportive when she acts like this. I know she is upset b/c she feels left out of her other friends wedding, but that is not my fault ya know? I have 2 MOH's too, which is good for me, but now I am worried that this MOH will start to get controling and act like she did last night. My cousin is my other MOH and trust me, she won't stand for that. She is pretty protective of me to begin with (family thing ) and she is very strongwilled, she basically doesn't take any $&%! from anyone lol! Am I worrying over nothing!

Anyways, so drama aside I am very happy and content with this dress now, I will go on Sat and see what the seamstress has to say but I think I am happy with the backup choice

Dress 3 is just perfect though. It looks like it is made to fit you- it suits you so well and makes your waist look great! How much is it again? Could you afford to buy this one as well if you can have your other dress too and have two dresses?
