Thanks Mandy! My mom saw your dress as we were leaving and said it was so pretty! I then told her that you tried it on and it looked amazing! Dress 8 has a little more of a va va voom factor because it is a slimmer cut so I def need to try it on again!

Ok, I loved your favorites (3 and 8), but I gotta say girl, I thought you looked gorgeous in 8!! It was super flattering on you- so that was my favorite!! I'd try that one on again!!

Aww thanks! I need to bring my MOH this week and see what she says (and maybe she can take a normal pic of me in it so I don't get distracted by my weird faces in my moms pics lol!) I did like how it was more fitted, my mom also called me a little while ago and said I didn't try sitting down in any of them so she wants to make sure we go back so I can try sitting in them

how were the prices of the dresses Sam?

very reasonable actually. The ranged from about $500 US to about $900 US... so about 300-700 pounds (roughly). I was expecting a LOT higher so I felt a little better.

Also my wonderful dad said that he would pay for a new dress in honor of my grandma (his mom) if we need to! I was so so so happy about that! I have been so nervous about paying for the wedding stuff lately, and it meant a lot to me that he offered to do that. I am still going to try and save the original dress but it is good to know what options I have. I think my MOH and I are going to look at dresses tomorrow night too so that is nice!

ya know I was nervous too but they were great! I had a good time except for a family who brought their 6 kids with them and they were running around like animals! When one stepped on my dress and I almost fell, I almost lost it! I did speak up and told the dad that his kids needed to not run around because they were going to injure someone. He just looked at me appaled and the sales girl said the kids would not be allowed back if they behave that way. So I loved that she spoke up too lol!

I like number 3, the top on the front is very pretty. But it looks kind of beachy to me. Number 8 I think is the winner!! It looks awesome on you, and I love the back.

Thanks! I like them both, I am so torn! But I promised myself that I woul dkeep an open mind about all this dress stuff for the next 2 weeks. And that I would wait 2 weeks to make the choice, that way I can check on my current dress and see what options I have.

I'm not that big of a fan of dress 3 I don't like how it looks under the bust. Maybe it's just because it's not tailored to fit you
but dress 8 gets a from me.

Oh Sam, I can totally understand your situation with your dress, I lost my grandmother (or Nonna as we called her) to cancer a few years ago but always imagined her to be sitting front row at my wedding. Just know that no matter what happens with the dress she bought you, she will be there in spirit and she will be happy as long as you are. My Nonna's favorite place was Disney World so knowing I am getting married there makes it all the more special for me!

Now for the dress, as much as I love dress 3 (it's much like the one I bought) I absolutely adore number 8! You look stunning in it and the back is gorgeous! Just make sure whatever you decide is what you LOVE most. Good luck!

Yea, they weren't too bad so i was pretty happy with it. And I almost cried when my dad told me not to worry about it... <3 my dad!

I also thought the shape of #4 in the first pic of the dress was great on you but I'm not crazy about all the lace and know what you mean about it not being you. You have some great options and think keeping your options open for a few weeks is a great idea! So sweet of your dad too! Have you talked to any seamstresses yet about your original dress?

Aww thanks Adelia! I love them both and am glad I am waiting a bit to think everything through for sure. The seamstress is closed on mondays so I am going to call her tomorrow and see when I can bring the dress in, hopefully this week just to see what my options are.

She got that dress too, and it's funny because before she showed me she said "It doesn't look good online, the model isn't wearing it well" and as soon as she said that I knew what dress she had to have picked lol!
