Good morning, Jamborinis and Kidanites! :sunny:

Today we begin our big travel experiment! We are leaving late this afternoon to drive to DC and have a Park 'n' Fly there. Our flight to Boston is at 6:15 tomorrow morning  and I know it is going to take all I have to get both Bob and Kristin up and at 'em even from a hotel next to the airport! :rotfl:

On the weather this morning, they're saying that Atlanta could see rain next weekend from the tropical depression that's now forming..........

I have a feeling my trip to WDW next weekend could be a wet one!! Guess I'll pack the poncho and umbrella!!! :rotfl: (the animals will still be out on the savannas unless it's a full-blown hurricane! ;))

Absolutely adorable and you've got a good Disney fan for life on your hands. :goodvibes I promised my niece that if the first words out of her mouth were Disney World, I'd pay for her college education. Even though my sis and bil tried their best, it wasn't her first word. Oh well, more money to take her to Disney with for the next 18 years (she just turned one.) ;) Here she is almost having outgrown her first Princess dress (gee wonder who got that for her?)

YAY!!! :yay: Let's hope it stays that way!

So adorable! Well since Halloween is coming up - I think a new princess dress may be in order!
My 17 month old has been saying "Mickey" for the past few weeks- it sounds more like "icky" but he gets so excited and says it over and over whenever he sees Mickey (book, toy, etc.)

Wendy ...

So sorry Wendy...

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I thought I remember reading somewhere a list of items that are in the villa kitchens (I'm looking for Kidani if that makes a difference) - thinks like cookware, cooking utensils, etc. I can't seem to find where that somewhere was that I read this. I re-read the 2nd post here, but I didn't see a detailed list. Am I dreaming that I read this or is it out there somewhere?

Thanks!!

I don't know if there is a detailed list or not, but it has about everything you need. Are you DVC? if so I believe there is a list on the DVC site.

Is there something you are looking for?

Just a couple things like a skillet and spatula (to make pancakes) and sharper knives to cut stuff like apples and grapefruit. I'd guess they are there, but thought I'd ask the question.

I'm also curious regarding the coffee maker, are there filters and coffee there, and if not what size coffee makers are they so I know what kind of filters to bring (standard size vs a small 4 c. size).

Thanks again!! I'll check out the DVC site.

ok just wanted to add a little light humor to the thread today -

So we went to Chick-Fil-A for lunch. I asked for some Polynesian sauce for my nuggets. DD (4) asked me when we sat down " Mom can I have some Grand Floridian sauce?"

Needless to say DH and I thought it was hysterical! Happy Friday friends and we can't wait to see many of you in October!

That is hilarious! I'd like some Kidani sauce please!

I don't want to jinx it, but today my foot is showing signs that it actually may heal at some point!!! :thumbsup2

That's good, I hope it heals soon!

Evening Jamborini's and Kidanites!!!! When it rains it pours - our AC went out today......................... it's SO hot - OMG - I think we're headed to get a hotel till they can replace the unit -

It's been one of those weeks............... I'm just worn out - I just hate that it seems like EVERYTHING goes wrong all at once........... anyway - we've had 3 things, so lets hope its over now!!!

Big Hugs to everyone - I think we all need it this week!!! Have a great weekend everyone!!!:

I hope you get all your home disasters fixed, and soon!

You won't find it at DVCmember.com but I di know is you find the VGC Owners and Lovers 2.0 thread on the DVC Mousecellaneous board there is a link to a post (on the first or second post) of the kitchenware that should be in every 1br villa. All the villas should have the same cookware.

I know that they have the basic cooking supplies, yes to everything you listed, skillet, spatula, knives (both to cook and eat with), as for the coffee maker I am not a good one to ask... I might have a picture, let me look..:confused3

Coffee makers are the 12-cup ones. We always bring our own coffee and basket filters. They do supply you with one or 2 of the pre-measured, filter-enclosed coffee packets - a no-name brand; but wouldn't surprise me if it was Nescafe!! ;)
