You have to bring the stroller with you, on the bus. If it's a smaller umbrella stroller...that's no big deal.

If it's one of the larger strollers, or jogging strollers, it can be a pain to haul it on and off. If the bus is full, it can also be a pain to "control" it.

If you're staying on property, parking in the parks is free. They'll give you a parking pass to put in your window the day you arrive.

Well it's a big honkin' jogging stroller (BOB), it folds pretty darn flat for a big stroller but I don't think I'll want to attempt it on a bus.
Awesome that we get parking passes, looks like we'll be driving most of the time which is just fine with me! We're going to use the valet so we won't have to hunt for the van in the mornings.
Thanks! :goodvibes

I gotta tell you....we've driven down from Connecticut a bunch of times (and will again in October).

It is AWFUL nice to know you are going to have a seat in a comfortable, air conditioned vehicle that will not be stopping anywhere you don't want it to at the end of the day.

And the only screaming kids or sweaty adults on board will be the ones we're directly related to. :)

How are buses when it comes to strollers? Are you supposed to fold it and bring it on the bus with you or do they have a place to store them under the bus??
We will have our van with us so I have no problem just driving to the parks if needed.
Also, if we do drive to the parks do we have to pay parking if we are staying on property??

....some buses can lower (using hydraulics) and have a ramp towards the back of the bus. However, it is only used for those folks who have a 'handicap' and cannot use the steps. Usually, most people fold up their strollers and sit near the back to the bus so as not to be so 'intrusive' - you have to just use good judgement when handling a stroller. My advice is to board buses during 'off-peak' hours; it'll be better for all concerned. Believe me, I've seen many 'put out' people who start rolling their eyes when they see someone fumbling with a stroller and small children [like THEY've never been in that situation themselves! :headache: ]

...as for the parking, you are issued a piece of paper with your L-o-S dates and your resort that you keep on your dash to be able to park at the resorts and parks for free. Personally, I would NEVER want to use my own vehicle, especially when, at the end of the day, I'd rather board a nice cool air-conditioned bus than a steaming HOT car that's been parked on 100-degree asphalt ALL DAY!

Made all our ADR's on Saturday.

100% Success rate (including Cindy's breakfast AND 2 Dinners at Boma!!)

Trip is coming up quick.

:scared: We have one of those BIG double strollers and I hate dragging it on the bus.:sad2:

We find it better to rent a car and if we are really tired or raining DH can drop us off and we are right there at the main entrance.

pilferk - congrats on all your ADRs!

...how's Bob? Or, should a say, 'Miracle Man'?
