We finally got our cruise docs and luggage tags!! Now it seems real!! I think 7 days is a descent time for cut off so we can all get ready. I pretty much think who we already have here on the post will be about it anyway. Janeen, thank you again for all you've done with the FE list!! Is Tara Laine taking point on the meet since she knows the ship? I like what she did with the questionaire, so if she wouldn't mind setting a place and time, we'll all find it! I'm really excited to see everyone...sounds like we have an awesome group!!

Thanks, Mandy -- I'll be happy to try and do the meet-up! Although I think the Residence Inn folks will probably be running into each other before they even get to port, I'm thinking the early-arrivals might want to look for each other at 10:00 a.m. that morning....

Otherwise, what do we think about meeting at or right after the Goofy Sail-Away Party? The only thing is that it's loud and crazy during the actual party -- so it might not be the best time... I'm just thinking that it would be something where we would definitely all be there...

I'm torn about whether to be on Deck 9 or Deck 10 for the party. Deck 9 is where the party/dancefloor is. Deck 10 is like a balcony overlooking all of that -- so the kids might have a better view of the festivities.... I think it would still be 'part of the action' -- but it's hard to say. I think I'll post a question on the forum...

Any thoughts, y'all?? Would you rather wait until a later time?? I just thought it might be nice to meet up early on - in case anyone wanted to get together later on...

We can all meet at the pool or The Cove one day? I have also seen other groups meet in the atrium. I am open to anything!

I'm good with balcony for over-sight visual...we can create our own party! But then again, I'm good with dance floor level, too. Whatever is best, we'll be there.

Hi everyone--

Very happy....I just finished my FE's! Still have to put a few finishing touches on them........actually glad I remembered how to use my sewing machine!

Hope you are all doing very well.....can't believe in exactly two weeks will all be not sleeping at our hotels because we are too excited!

It's finally warmed up here.....too bad my legs are too white to wear shorts. Not for long....can't wait for that nice warm cruise ship sun!

Hey all, I'm going to be joining you on this cruise too. I was lurking here when I booked the trip a couple months ago, but then work got way too busy for me to keep up. Will be myself(27), my parents, and my sister(14). Sadly, I am way too busy to get anything ready to do FE's but I miht try to make it to a meetup. Can't wait to get out of the snow and into the warm weather!

Well, Welcome Rideengineer! Have we decided where we are meeting and when on the ship?
We weighed one of our suitcases this morn and it weighs 30lbs. That means I can stuff 19 more pounds of junk in there lol!

Janeen is right -- I am kind of trying to be stealth about my FE stuff, lol... - planning to assemble my little goodie bags tomorrow, lol.. DH would shoot me, lol...

Here's what I am doing - not every cabin will have the exact same mix of stuff. I bought a whole bunch of stuff, but I don't have 15 or however-many of any one thing - but I have bunches of lots of things... Thing is, I started shopping before we had a solid count of FE's. I was counting posters on the thread and not any extra cabins of people who were participating but not posting. Sooooo, every cabin will get several cool things, but not every goodie bag will be identical....if that makes sense...

Okay y'all -- got a question about the Sail Away Party....

There are two places to go to experience the Sail Away Party -- either Deck 9 on the dancefloor (totally in the noise/action/dancing) or Deck 10 above the dancefloor - around the edge (with a birdseye view of everything, but more of a spectator than a participant)...

If you were not planning a meet 'n greet, which deck would you likely choose for your Sail Away Spot? In other words, if it was just your family/cabin, where would you want to be for the party (in the middle of it or along the edge)...?

What's your honest opinion on this....? Would you like to try and meet before the Sail Away Party (hurrying up to Deck 9/Deck 10 right after the Boat Drill)....or would you rather pick a totally separate time during the cruise?

I picked this time initially because I knew we would all be going to this event - and it's always fun to do a party with a bunch of people that you know or kinda know...

And.....I didn't know how easy it would be for us to pick a different day/time/place after the Sail-Away, because we'd all be going in such different directions. I didn't figure it would be likely that we would all be available.....

What does everyone else think? I'm open to whichever....just wanted to see what you all thought... Any thoughts??

With older kids, I'm guessing we'll be on Deck 10.

Does the Sail Away start right after Muster drill or at 4:30pm? I think Deck 10 might be a better option for a Meet and Greet. But we'll have to bust a move (can you tell I'm an 80's girl) up to Deck 10.

Are there others who definitely want to be on Deck 9 for the Sail Away?

We are quite flexible....but I think Deck 10 will be slightly less crowded.
