Sailing 11/16 - just got our docs and dinner rotation!!!

I am sooo excited!! DH and I are spending 2 weeks at WDW for our honeymoon in November (1 week on land and then sailing on the Magic on 11/16) and we just got all our documents!! We also got a call yesterday from the cruise line so we could make our Palo reservations and get our dinner rotation!! We lucked out and got LAPLAPL!!!!! DH was also told that we will be seated with other honeymooners!!

Anyone else sailing on this date?

How did you get your dining rotation? I thought that was something you couldn't find out about until you boarded and went to your room?

Paul, that's what I thought too. We think it's because we're getting the Romance Package for our honeymoon so I think they call early for stuff like that. We had also already made our shore excursion reservations so all we have to do when we get on board is make our spa reservations (we each get 1/2 massage with the package).

I guess that explains it! Gee, I wonder if traveling with my parents who are celebrating their 50th anniversary (and us, our 20'th) has any pull?

Congratulations on your marriage. You certainly chose the perfect honeymoon spot as well.

We just returned last weekend from the 9/28 Magic. We had our wedding vow renewed while onboard. Our renewal package was booked through Disney's Fairy Tale Wedding department. We too had all of our reservations made prior to sailing. I was told we'd have APL rotation that I wanted. (I specifically wanted that so we'd have Lumiere's the night of our renewal). Palo was to be later on that evening at 7:30. Our champagne brunch was also booked. When we checked in at the port I received our KTW cards and we had PLA rotation. I didn't panic too much as I felt our wedding coordinator onboard could remedy this - she did. Upon further discussions with her we had Palo reservations for Wednesday night. Our renewal was Thursday - so we needed this to be changed as well. I checked with her on the champagne brunch and she had that noted for the correct day and time. At that point I felt more comfortable that the reservations were set. On Monday morning when we arrived at Palo for our champagne brunch they had no reservation but seated us anyway. So long story short - double check everything once onboard. I assumed since we were reassured prior to sailing that all were taken care of that it was and that was proved different. Ultimately everything was taken care of exactly like we wanted.

Thanks Renee, and congrats to you on your vow renewal!! Also, thanks for giving me the heads up to double check everything. I think DH is planning on calling the cruise line a week before we leave to confirm everything but we'll check on board as well. Thanks again!!!!

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage. Make sure to make a reservation for the surial bath in the spa, too! Even after 18 years of marriage we wouldn't want to miss it!!

Snowmouse, thanks! We saw a whole thred about that on the boards a few months ago and already decided to do the surial bath!!!!! It sounds like an experience that can't be missed!!!
