Safari Celebration Dinner/Magical Gathering

Has anyone done the SAfari Celebration Dinner? We have it scheduled for June 11th and are bringing first-timers with us. Is is worth it and will our children enjoy it (boys....ages 8, 11, 12, 12)? Thanks!

We did it last August, and it was the best of all the Grand Gathering offerings, IMHO. First, a ride on the Safari, then buffet dinner in Tusker House, with African musicians playing (they were very good). The option to meet Timon and Rafiki in a smaller room, which we did, and the option to see some small animals outside, I think a tarantula was one of them. Everyone got a special pin too. It was a really nice evening.
