Saw something about this movie on Oprah today & DH mentioned it several months ago. Is this movie in theatres, on DVD? Please help a clueless mother of a 13 yo DD. Thanks!

It's an independant movie, so it was released in some theaters. I believe it's on DVD right now, but I haven't looked into it. Maybe there's an official website, or Amazon may have it...??

It is on DVD. It a very powerful, intense film.

You may want to wait until your DD is a couple of years older, lest you scare the bejeezus out of yourself. "Intense" is a very charitable description.

(Loved the movie, BTW, and I don't mean the above as a criticism - it's just not a "family movie," and I wouldn't want you renting it thinking it was.)

Check out www.screenit.com. It will give you a full description of the movie. I watched it on DVD recently. As the mother of a pre- teen, I found it frightening but I thought it was a great film.
