Keep going. I'm enjoying your creativity of finding a way to comment on ROL and AK hours that links to the unrelated blog posts. Nice photo of the birds, but do you have a photo of the AK hours?

I was on the disney website browsing when a survey popped up. I took it and when it asked if I completed what I wanted to, I truthfully answered that I could not make the dining package reservation that I wanted for ROL since they don't exist yet and I could not complete my planning since the AK schedule is not updated. The higher ups must have gotten the message by now from all the ways people have have been contacting them about this. I've gotten to the acceptance phase of my planning and will see ROL if I can on May 1st, but it will hopefully still be there on a future trip if I can't. Doesn't stop me from checking the website at least twice a day, though.

I took the survey too and voiced my opinion about the uncertainty. Hopefully, it will encourage Disney to get the options up. Going to Disney World IS a lot of planning. Since we opt to do reservations for ADRs and fastpasses ( so we can have table service meals & not too long of a wait for rides), we should be offered the true options once our 180 or 60 days are up. I hope they read the results of he surveys.

Yes!!! They do it right there by the door and there's a cute saying that goes with it. We are all adults and we do it. It's so much fun running around the rest of the day with glitter in your hair!! Have a great trip!

Everything's ready to go for our end of April trip....except the day we had planned to go to DAK. Giving this until the end of the week, and then switching to a day at Uni. Not going to take risk that DAK isn't open after 6 at end of month.

Sadly, think I need a break from WDW for a while....

I hear you. I wanted to switch to Uni or Sea World but DH wants to walk around and take in the lights. I want to avoid the crowds if no fp or package.

Anywhere from a month to a couple of weeks. And when they are done, they are usually done using cast members first. Not guests. So if they are done with guests, probably more within the two week time frame.

If they do soft openings with guests, there won't be any announcement. They will just be outside inviting guests into the attraction. No way to know when or if.

I am hoping for this. Will be there the 19th and 20th

Maggie was at the other end of the cast line! 407-WDW-CAST. I sort of thought maybe they put her there with the thought that CMs would be more patient with her!

I'm still debating whether I want to go meet Chewie. My brother is part of the 501st so they are used to all kinds of SW stuff and people around. My brother's best friend is the only original and licensed Chewie costume wearer in this country.... my DD calls him huggy bear. I am afraid she'll run up to Chewie thinking it's uncle's best friend and expect a big bear hug from huggy bear I am glad they have Kyle Ren though because he's a character they haven't met yet. And Jawas. I hope there's some Jawas out. That would make their day!

That would be confusing with another Chewie! I can't wait to meet the Jawas - need to remember to bring something fun to trade!

I've been lurking since the beginning, but I just had to chime in because @KMWoolley's blog comments are quite possibly the highlight of my day. The Lego one is genius!

We are going to be in the world April 14-24, so I am stalking ROL as well. I have the evening of the 23rd set aside if it all comes together. If it doesn't for this trip it's not terrible. I just convinced my mom, who is a DVC owner, to plan a quick girls trip at the end of the summer with myself, my 2 DD's, and my niece. So hopefully ROL will be open by then!!!

Now if my MIL could make up her mind about which day in April she wants to join us, so I can finalize fastpasses, and drop extra dining reservations I'm keeping because of her, I'd be happy.

I have a few Star Wars ones from Tee Turtle - Rey and BB8 that says BBBF and one with all the Disney princesses holding lightsabers. But those are shirts, not tanks, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to wear them on our trip (I'll try for evening, once its cooler) but I need a Star Wars tank. I got one from the Disney store, but its more lke a muscle shirt with huge arm openings so I'm gonna send it back.
