Does the Royal Pacific Resort still give the kids a sand pail and shovel when you check in? My little one like to play in the sand by the pool are 2 years ago when we were there. I wasn't sure if we should bring a couple sand toys with, or if they still offered it. I also was reading that the give out a toy to the kids at checkin, did that replace the shovel and pail?

not sure about this.

i know they stopped the good grades program at the hotels.

hey, aurora illinois........just east of me.

When we checked in last August they gave each kid a little bag (the drawstring type that you wear like a back pack) with a re-usable sports bottle and a piece of chocolate in it. The bags were very cheap and fell apart before the end of our trip. We still have the sports bottles.

We didn't get them in October of 2005. We did receive them when we went in 2003 & also received the kids gift at HRH in 2004. I didn't even remember to ask, so maybe you have to ask for them. But I didn't see any around the pool area & I remember seeing a lot around the pool in 2003.

Ok, so maybe I missed this. We are staying at RPH for a business meeting and bringing our kids along, so I really didn't do my research well...
you talk about bringing sand toys for your kids because....
is there sand there, like a beach for them to play on? I would love some
enlightenment so my kids can have some fun inbetween my work! Thanks so much! :sunny:

As far as i understand, there is a lagoon style pool and a man made sandy beach................ when we phoned and booked from the UK I THINK thats what the operator told me. I was soooo excited :cool1: i wasnt listening properly. Im sure someone will be along soon, to confirm my understanding!

We were just at RPR a few weeks ago. Each of the 3 kids got a pail and shovel plus one of those doodle pads, you know the magnetic drawing things. There is a nice sandy beach area near the pool where the kids can play. It was our first time there, we thought it was a beautiful resort. Have fun!

Thanks for the info. What I remember is that there is a sandy beach by the path and waterway to Citywalk, but, when we were there, the one section of beach chairs by the pool were in sand. My little one sat right next to me and played in the sand.
