just back from our best family vacation ever ! son 11, daughter13, and son 20, and me dad. checked in on thursday the 18th at around 10.00 am. after driving from n.c. ( charlotte area ) all night. check in went great. check in girl was ada, she was really nice. she gave us a room right away. room 1630 , the windward #1 tower. two queen beds. had reserved regular room but was upgaded to pool view, and wow ! what a view. you could see the whole entire pool, no obstructions. we unpacked and headed to the parks. got our tickets from the machine, ( ordered tickets online with mc offer 5 five consecutive days for the price of 4 ) went straight to spiderman, went straight to fotl with key cards. this amenity is wonderful we all felt like kings , i don't think we could ever go back without this. we rode everything twice in a very short time. got backto the resort at 4.00 pm. milk and cookies was waiting for us. by the way all my kids recieved a bag of gifts. they loved it. we used the bag for carying snacks and our souvenier bottle(refills only 1.25 ) for the parks. after eating cookies , which were very good, we got ready and headed for the pool. it is wonderful. after that we got showered and dressed and went to margaritaville it was fantastic. band was great, food was delicious, after eating we had a ball just exploring city walk. turned in around midnight. me , first sleep in about 24 hrs. by the way we had lunch at hulk coaster retaurant, not to good. will post day 2 later.
