Spaceballs the Sequel

we watched it,

I thought it picked up as it went through.

The History of the Worlds were not my favorite Brooks.
HotWPI is one of my favorites.

I will say I really liked the teaser for Spaceballs 2. The scrolling text was hilarious!

I'm debating asking for a "Spaceballs The Sweatshirt" Sweatshirt for a Christmas gift. 🤣

Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, and SpaceBalls (in no specific order) and of course Get Smart (TV) are my favs. High Anxiety was fun also

I've seen bits of Young Frankenstein but not the entire thing (I really should). Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs, HotWPI I thought were great.

Brooks even played in "Mad About You" a couple episodes, I think as Paul Reiser's dad. Hilarious!

Not a fan of sequels, I have yet to watch one that came anywhere close to the quality of the original. However, Mel Brooks is just strange enough to pull it off.
He could find some humorous ways to address the age of the returning castmembers and the absence of those who have passed away.
It is interesting because Mel Brooks has said in the past that most of his movies couldn't be made today because they pushed the envelope too far.

My DH will be excited and I will be excited for him (I’m not a big fan of this movie :duck:)

Same. You know we're going to end up in a theater watching this.... :cheer2:

Well...studios 'intend' to do lots of things. Moranis is 'set to appear' in the sequel. The check is in the mail. I remembered to buy that stuff you wanted....

I definitely will buy a ticket to the premiere date for this film, if it does happen. If Moranis does not back out, then I think yes, it probably will happen at least in terms of being produced. Studios get cold feet about wide release all the time, so it wouldn't be shocking to see them dump it to streaming.
