RPDE Recent Discounts

Has anyone used a discount recently for the RPDE? My dh had hinted once or twice that he would LOVE to do this again. He did the rookie expierence in 2004. I would really like to suprise him again for our January trip. Not sure though this close to the holiday's if that will be possible yet. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any discounts?

Thinking about splurging for DF for his birthday/Christmas gift in December. So any information would be great on the experience. Has anyone done the Driving experience? I was thinking about getting the middle of the road one, gets to drive himself for a few laps. I dont think he will appreciate the one he has to sit in the passenger seat!

I have bought the rookie exp. in 2004 for dh. That's the problem- he liked it too much. He got to drive the car for I believe 8 laps w/ that program. It did take about 4 hrs on a Saturday morning for the whole event. It was so worth it though, because DH just loved it.
