This might be a strange question, but here goes.

I understand that the bathroom at the RPH has the sink outside of where the toilet and shower are - but, is the sink outside of the bathroom, or is there a door to go into the area with the sink, and then a separate door to go into the room with the toilet and tub? Or is the sink "outside" the bathroom, like in the hall by the closet. The reason I'm asking is because my family doesn't like rooms where the only sink is outside the bathroom without being able to close a door to the room with the beds. Does anyone have any pictures? Thanks!

There is no door going into the sink area. The sink sits just outside the bathroom door and the area is separated from the rest of the room by a wall. In some rooms the wall has a decorative cut out that you can see partially through. Directly across from the sink is the closet. If someone were standing in front of the sink changing clothes and everyone else was sitting on a bed, they could not see them changing. I know that probably doesn't make a whole lot of sense and I am sorry I don't have any pictures to share. HTH!

Thanks! That's exactly what I needed to know. My husband hates when there isn't a door. When people are sleeping, we don't like the fact that you can hear the running water, etc. I guess we we'll have to stick to the HRH and PBH!

Our room at HRH had a similar layout - one sink had no door separating it from the sleeping area, just a partitioning wall, but there was another sink inside the bathroom door. Do RPR rooms have only the sink outside?

RPR for all standard, except ADA accessible, rooms have one sink outside of the bath and toilet room that is separated from the bed(s) by a carved wooden panel over a half wall.
