If someone has time... I have a few questions about using the stroller at Disneyworld.

Is the stroller easy to fold up and what size is it when it's folded?

Will it need to be folded up for the bus? Monorail? Boats? or can we roll right on?

What about the train? Can we take it on the train if it's folded up?

The stroller is LARGE and HEAVY. My husband did the lugging on and off the bus.
But..it folds and unflods very easily and quickly.
We folded it for the bus, train, and boats. We did not have to fold it for the monorail.

The dimensions of the folded stroller are 33 x 34 x 21. ...
Also, I did a search and found one review that says the stroller will not fit in the trunk of a small car (did not say what make/model). Hmmmmm.... Maybe some back up twine or a bungie cord would be a good just-in-case item.

Not sure about the train. Are you talking about the train in MK? If so, I'm pretty sure that getting the stroller on that train would be a challenge. But that's only from what I've read. Any prev swappers have personal experience with the MK train?

We brought the RC3 on the train at MK without too much of an issue. Granted, I did make my DH be the one to fold it up and carry it on, but it did work.

We're arriving on 6/28 and departing on 6/30, spending one day in MK on 6/29. Is it possible to join a swap, or are swaps only arranged for 1 week or longer?

On Stroller #3...are there any accessories with it? An upcoming swapper is wondering.

I've been thinking about the concerns with RC#1 and after using it for a week with a 7 and almost 3 year old this is what I think. If I owned the stroller and was using it at home everyday I would not hesitate to keep using it for a looong time to come. It really is in great shape for the use it gets. Hopefully that eases the minds of some of the the swappers coming up to use it.

Did you get the seat ordered? They put one on backorder for me last December saying it would ship in January. In February I emailed them and they said it is still on backorder. Here it is April and I still have no seat? Just wondering if they told you something different. thanks!

I don't look forward to purchasing and transporting a double stroller from KY. My DS will only be 6 months during our trip, so renting is/was not really an option. I was happy to find that others before me have come up with a solution!

To calm the nerves of a newbie. First and foremost-WELCOME TO DISBOARDS-BEWARE it is very addictive! Before long you will be joining the ranks of the DISNEYFIED NUTS-us!

I've been managing the RC swaps since October 2008 and have added the tinkerbelle swap in March. Since I have taken over (a total of 6 strollers ) I have only had twice that a swapper wasn't able to us a stroller. One was in October 2008-a stroller went AWOL and never found but I moved things around quickly and had everything covered within a couple days. The second time was recently and I still feel bad about it. It was a last minute swapper where I had to call the swapper at WDW with her info. Wires became crossed and stroller was left off site-the poor swapper who left it was horrible ill for days while she was on vacation and as I said, wires were crossed.

So with that being said, I would estimate over 120 swappers since October and only twice was anyone without a stroller. Our swappers are AWESOME in making connections-fulfilling the exchanges-and overall a great bunch of DIS'ERS. Plus talk about an active bunch of Ladies. They all help with the swap. I work days and if there is a question posted someone will be there to answer it (THANK YOU LADIES) plus if a problem arises-my left hand gal NELEP is there until we locate the stroller or fix the problem.worship

Main thing with any swap-communication between you and the swappers before and after you. That way you know exactly where the stroller is the minute your feet hit the warm sand land of Florida.

The concern (for me) would only come in if you have children that are very young, and NEED to wear the seatbelts. If not, don't worry about it. I used two resort towels to cover the seats and it worked perfectly. It became a pristine white covered seat. (I changed them every morning.) If you have babies, that need to use the seatbelts, then you might have an issue, because using the seatbelts will not let the towels lay flat. The gum is on the seatbelt. So, by covering them with the towels it would also be taken care of.

I have RC #2 in four weeks and I have a 19 month old definately will need the seat belts or we will be in trouble she will want to get in and out of the stroller if not belted in. I'm a little nervous now. Let me know parkers mamma if you don't think we will have seat covers or something so I can use the seatbelt before May 12, I just need my little munchkin to be safe and not pavement candy. She is an active little girl thanks to her brothers.
