If you can afford it then you should definitely stay at the Poly. The resort is very beautiful and extremely family friendly. My kids (DS3, DS3, and DD4) loved the pool and the beach. Pool is zero entry so they were able to play in it very easily. They loved playing on the beach at night while watching the fireworks. The monorail access was wonderful. If they were napping when we left Epcot or MK, we could just push the stroller right onto the monorail without disturbing them. My boys loved the monorail and even got a chance to ride up front with the driver - that was a huge moment for them. They also show movies everynight on the beach between the Poly and GF. We checked it out one night and it was pretty cool. Unfortunately, our kids were too tired to stay. I can't say enough nice things about the Poly!
I don't know but I want that pin Code...PLEASE!!!!
Hi Everyone!
We just got back VERY EARLY this morning....I had to come on to post a BIG THANK YOU!!!!! The stroller was wonderful. It was really great for late nights...both of my little guys could relax and take little snoozes, as needed.
The stroller steers wonderfully, and is in great WORKING condition.
I had RC#2, so I wanted to give a little update on the condition of the stroller because maybe someone using it could bring a few "repair" supplies with them.
The black handle covering has a rip in it, but maybe some black electrical tape could repair it..before it gets worse.
The seat is not in great condition....it was past the point of being cleanable....I didn't even try.......but, I used the resort towels to cover the seats, and it worked fine. (My guys did not use the seatbelts, so it wasn't an issue.)
The setbelt has gum stuck on it. This I did try to get out, and it did work a little...but I didn't have any supplies...like goo be gone. That could totally take out the rest.
Also, all accessories are missing. Except for the bug cover and hook. the weather was great while we were there...so we didn't need any of them anyway. But, if concerned you may want to pack some of your own stuff to take with.
Again, a huge thank you for the stroller swap. It definately made our vacation even more enjoyable!
Hi Fellow Hudson Valley'er!!
First of all! I have RC2 in about 3 weeks and that sounds pretty scary! My children will be wearing Custom clothing that I have spent months making (like the one in my avatar) and an un-cleanable seat is not gonna work for us. I hope Parkersmom can do something about this soon........... and gum
. I know this stroller was one of the older ones but I was hoping that it wouldn't be a problem. Can the seat covers be replaced? I really need the stroller. We are flying and we are limited as to what we can bring especially since we don't check luggage so goo be gone can't come with us. We don't even have a stroller. We just use them in Disney. Help!
Hello to you too!
The concern (for me) would only come in if you have children that are very young, and NEED to wear the seatbelts. If not, don't worry about it. I used two resort towels to cover the seats and it worked perfectly. It became a pristine white covered seat. (I changed them every morning.) If you have babies, that need to use the seatbelts, then you might have an issue, because using the seatbelts will not let the towels lay flat. The gum is on the seatbelt. So, by covering them with the towels it would also be taken care of.
Crapola! It's sad...I know these are older strollers but they aren't even a year old. So sad!
I'm heading to the website to see if I can order a new seat for it. Wish me luck!
OK...I've found seat covers/liner:
