Has anyone been on one of the new "voyageur class" Royal Caribbean ships yet? (Navigator, Explorer, Voyageur of the Seas, etc).

We're tossing around all ideas for our 20th anniversary in March, and we're seriously considering one of these - on the Western Caribbean sailing.

Unfortunately, Disney Cruise Line prices have gone up WAY too much this year! They are at least $200-300 more per person than Royal Caribbean! :(

Thanks!

Hey Rhonda! Long time no see :)

We are sailing on the Explorer of the Seas one month from Thursday!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Our relatives sailed on the same ship, they just did the Eastern Caribbean (we are doing Western) and they had a WONDERFUL time!

I can tell you all about it in a month :D

Go to this web site, it's Cruise Critics.com

http://messages.cruisecritic.com/2/OpenTopic

It's the "DIS boards" of the cruise industry. Then look for the specific message board for Royal Caribbean and you will find a TON of information about the various ships and ports.

A good friend of mine recently returned from a cruise aboard the Voyager of the Seas and loved it :)

DH and I are cruising next summer on Royal Caribbean's Nordic Empress, which is their smallest ship, and goes to Bermuda.

Good luck and have fun, whatever you choose :)

My husband and I sailed on Explorer of the Seas this past January. It was wonderful! It is an absolutely beautiful ship and lots of fun. We previously sailed on the Carnival Destiny and the Disney Wonder. I enjoyed all of our cruises, but I think I enjoyed the Explorer of the Seas the most. I just loved the beautiful decor, the size of the ship, the entertainment, the food, etc.. I think that it would be a wonderful choice for a 20th anniversary. I don't think you could go wrong. You might want to check out the Cruise Critic website message boards for more info. They have one specifically for Royal Caribbean. I spent a lot of time reading those boards prior to our cruise last year.

Thanks for all the info! I'm heading over to the cruise critics message boards right now!!

HI! Haven't sailed on them yet, however, I know lots people that have (see my profile) and have heard no complaints! I think there is soooooooooooooooooooo much to do on these particular ships to please everyone!!! Service and food seem to be top notch! Good luck with whatever you choose!!! :) :) :)

p.s. 20 years! WOWWWY!!! That is a looooooooong time!!!! CONGRATS!!!!!

We went on Soveriegn of the Seas and it was truly wonderful!:D RC has top notch service and anemities(kids LOVED the kids club). Coco Cay was great! Not sure what private island that one goes to, but you really can't go wrong with RC! I hope to go alone with DH one day:cool: !

We sailed on Voyager of the Seas about 2 years ago. We all loved it! At the time my kids were 10 and 9. I'm a huge Royal Caribbean fan. my husband and I had sailed on Royal Caribbean twice before we took the kids on Voyager. Just a few weeks ago I booked a cruise for us on Radiance of the Seas to Alaska this coming summer.

I would also recommend CruiseCritics.Com. Another great web site is Cruisemates.com.

Enjoy
