OMG. I’ve been following this for days and our plan was to arrive at 6:45 tomorrow which I think would have worked (if they did EMH as advertised and let people in an hour early). Not sure I can get my family there at 6 AM… Or 5 AM for that matter! Ugh.

What do you experts think the chance is of us getting boarding before 3pm is if we arrive before 7:00 tomorrow as a resort guest? I know there’s no way to know, I’m just looking for best guesstimate LOL.

I've been last two days and I think maybe 50-50 but I'd watch today as that is closer parallel.

On day 1, my husband and I were able to join a boarding group through the app on my dad's account. He was not in the park. It could have changed since then.

I thought it was back up but they said they aren’t boarding anyone right now and the line for the next boarding groups stretches out to baseline tap house. This never happened the previous 2 days that I saw.

So they'll have to use Guest Experience, which is no big deal as they are ready and waiting.

they have to wait, the bus lane is only for Disney and charter buses

They just filled the queue with a ton of people on both the regular side and the FP side before letting us join with our paper return tickets. Not sure who those other people were but we are now all the way at the entrance of the FP line.

really curious what caused such a backup compared to the last 2 days. Perhaps because they didn’t clear the entire line. I’m thinking maybe it would have been wiser to return later.

BG 48 has no chance to being done in time to actually ride, get to front of park, get back to resort and make checkout time. Should probably go back and pack and leave suitcases with RAC now. And then return. No way you’ll be called in time. I’d expect 40 min from time boarding group called to leaving ride. Yesterday I was in group 38 and that was called around 115 and I was done with ride at 2:05. Obviously boarding groups may differ in size day to day. If you really want to ride, I’d bring carryons back with you and not hold at Bell services and use uber/Lyft. Then you’d probably have 75-80% chance of riding it today.

Thanks. That is what we did. We rode a few rides and went back to pack. Just dropped Our bags are now at RAC. we are at the BC so it’s easy to go back and forth.
Relaxing in the room for a few before our breakfast reservation before we head back to the park.
I think we will be ok. We don’t have to be back to the resort till 4:20. If it gets too late, we will just Uber to the airport. I didn’t wake up at the crack of dawn to miss it.

Don't know your full plan for Monday, but I am also planning on attending Monday. My plan is to arrive at HS leisurely at 7:00am (with my whole group), tap in, get my boarding group, then enjoy the rest of the day . No stresssssssssss

In that case the EMH advantage may be you are already in the park to join when BG goes live, non-EMH may still be trying to enter thru the maingate?
