Rose & Crown or Raglan Road

Trying to decide between Rose & Crown or Raglan Road. We haven't been to either place. Which has better food?

We love Rose & Crown and have eaten there many times. A few years back they really cut back on the menu options and we decided not to go back. We have been for 3 or 4 years. It does have the nicest CM's ever. They are great to talk to. It actually makes me sad that we haven't been in several years.
We have been to Raglan Road and love it there. We will be going on our upcoming trip in the Fall. It is a beautiful restaurant, the service is good and the food is delicious. We get late (8:30 or later) ADR's so that we can also enjoy the band and the Irish Step Dancer. It is a great evening and I recommend it.

i haven't been to R & C but Raglan is one of our top restaurants!! we love it! they have the best bread pudding!! great steaks!

We have been to both, and the food was excellent at both as well. I would look at the menus and see which one you would like to eat at more.

As much as I love R&C, Raglan Road has a better menu IMO.

Raglan Road is awesome! The bread pudding is the best I've ever had! It's truly yummy and as an above poster said the restaurant is beautiful!

We haven't been to either, but I have always wanted to try R&C. This time we are going to have dinner there. The restaurant looks so pretty and hopefully we can get a table outside so we can eat right by the lake. On the flip side, I too was looking at Raglan Road and they look like the food was very similar to R&C however all I am interested in getting is the fish and chips and both locations have that on their menu.

We've been to both. Didn't care for R&C but LOVED Raglan Road!!!! You MUST get Ger's Bread & Butter Pudding!!
