Rose and Crown - whats good?

I may be able to switch our CP package to Rose and Crown from San Angel which I was not thrilled with but all they had when I orginally booked. What is good at Rose and Crown? Or should I keep what I have?

I had the bangers and mashed and it was really good. My dd had the fish and chips and they were good also. For appetizers we liked the potato leek soup and the cheese plate. I can't remember what DH had to eat but I know everyone liked the sticky toffee pudding he ordered for dessert!

We had the same delimna. In the end, we decided to choose SAI. R&C is relatively cheap as far as WDW TS go. We decided to try R&C sometime w/o the package, & go for SAI giving us more bang for our buck. The cheese plate is good for an appetizer.
The fish and chips is great for an entree.
The Bailey's Irish Trifle is an AWESOME dessert!
It's a nice, pleasant restaurant and experience.

And depending who the bartender is and the appropriate beer, you can also ask for a shamrock...

I had the mushroom appetizer there a few years ago and thought it was really good.

We went last trip, we had a meal....and no plan for it. We LOVED it. We sat right on the water.....the kids loved it too. I had Bangers and Mash...YUM!!!! O and also a yard of BEER...YUM...again!
If you get the right time for the reservation, you can enjoy the Illuminations.

Can you eat at the bar or just drink? I thought maybe this would be a good alternative to eat in America, which I've done (not planned) both times I've been. And since my trip is 13 days away, I'm not worrying about ADR now.
