Rooms numbers.....

When will we get our room numbers. My parents informed me yesterday that they have paid in full for our cruise on Nov 30, 2003. Mother told me we would not know our room numbers until we boarded the ship. I don't understand this.....we knew our room number and deck as soon as we booked our Alaska cruise and we hadn't even paid in full yet.

Is it this travel agency they are using or do we need to just ask. I have the travel agency number I am thinking of calling this week to see if she has that information. Plus I would like a booking number so we can check on our reservation and book excursions at Disney.com.

We booked through the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) and were told our cabin numbers when we booked. I know others have said they found out what cabin number they were given when they received their docs, that is also when we found out that we had been given an upgrade. I've heard some have indeed called their TA, and were told what cabin they had from them. I guess a call to your TA, wouldn't hurt.

Often when you book just a category you won't know your room number. Rest assured that when you get your documents your room number will be on them. The room number is needed for the tags you will put on your bags to get them to your room.

Hello Courtneysmom,

First of all, we'll see you on the ship Nov, 30th as well! But when we booked through All Seasons Travel, we booked just a category and we were told our room that day. I'd just call whoever you booked through and see if they have it. Always nice to know asap. If not, you'll know when we get our doc's. (which should be pretty soon!)

You won't be able to view the reservation on the Disneycruise website unless you booked the trip there. Your travel agent should be able to see if you have a room number. You will get information on booking excursions even if you don't have the room number. You can call the excursions number at the 60 day mark, and they will be able to find you by sailing date and name.
