Room requests.. do I call the hotel?

I'm leaving tomorrow! I'd like to request building 7 in Touchdown at All Star Sports. How/When do i do this? At check in? Or do I call the resort today?

Any ideas?

Normally you'd want to make these requests when you make your reservation. Calling the hotel won't do you any good. When you check-in, see what they can do for you. As long as you don't care about the view or floor, they will probably be able to accmodate you. You might want to ahve a second choice building in mind just in case there aren't any rooms available in building 7.

You can also call the reservation line back and ask them to add the note to the reservation. It is best if you do it when you first book but I'm sure they add a note at any time.

At this point the rooms have been assigned in the system. You should just ask when you check in what is available. Next time have your requests put into your reservation.

You can tell them when you make a reservation, but it is advisable to call the resort directly less than 5 days before you arrive and tell them. Somtimes that helps.

I know I saw this somewhere on the wed, not necessarily on DIS though--does anyone know the website that shows all room locations in all resorts?
