I am trying to get Dh to agree for a quick trip to Disney in 2 weeks. Just us, no kids. We talked about it at lunch some today about how we would do things different down there without it being for the kids. It really sounded fun!
Sometime ago there was a list about 20 romantic things to do at WDW.
I had it saved but now its gone. I'd like to find it again. Anyone have a copy or know where to find one?

Thanks....and wish me luck!

Sitting in a hammock on the beach at the Polynesian watching the fireworks at Magic Kingdom.

Late night swim in the quiet pool.

Dinner at ________ (insert your favorite restaurant here)

Strolling hand in hand on the Boardwalk.

Sitting in the hot tub at the Wilderness Lodge watching the geyser go off behind you.

Mid-afternoon break from the parks back at the room.......with the curtains closed and a "do not disturb" sign on the door!! :cool1:

PORS has carriage rides. I think you need reservations, sounds very romantic!
Enjoy your trip!

We own points at Saratoga. We have to get our annual passes anyways for our upcoming family trip so it really would be economical for us to go.
We can get the dining plan for 5 nights for a total of $380. A great deal!

I like the hammock idea. I have carriage ride written down. POR is actually our favorite resort!

Sipping a glass of champagne (water in a champagne glass would be fine too) at night in France at WS.

The first thing that came to my mind was the Poly beach waiting for the fireworks. If not the beach, there is also a point there & a slight hill & palm trees ---- but you won't be alone. Always people there doing same thing. :teeth: You can see the Water Pageant parade too (do they still have that?)

Yes, they still have the Electric Water Parade. Very cool.

And I agree about the point/slight hill/palm tree location. It is very nice there. But like you said, you won't be alone. During our week at the Poly, I bet we saw at least 3 couples either having a wedding there or having their wedding photos taken there.

What an awesome trip! You must be so excited!

A Surrey ride on the Boardwalk? It's a little bit of work, but we giggled and had a ball when we did it a few years back. Mind you, there's a bridge that's not too nice to get up!

We got married at Disney in December:
-DH ordered strawberries and champagne to be delivered to the room one night. That was a lot of fun- and so nice to unwind.
-One day when I stayed at the pool, he slipped back into the room and drew up a warm bbble bath (the tub was a soacking tub) and had concierge get us rose petals.
-I kept finding little romantic cards and notes everywhere before we left- in the underwear drawer, in my car, etc. The best one was, "He took the words right out of my mouth. Good morning, Beautiful!" and when I put the car on "Making Memories of Us" by Keith Urban came on. :lovestruc
-Dinner at the California Grill to watch the fireworks; or Victoria's and Albert's (not sure if you can see fireworks there); or Narcoossee's
-Afternoon swims for the two of you... go back to the room and shower together
-Just to let you know, Victoria's Secrets has a huge clearance sale right now. Go to the main page. Go to "Sale" at the far top right. Go to clearance. Check out some of the "off sizes" (the X-Smalls if you're lucky or the Larges and XLs) as there's more options than the "average American mediums". Might have to pay expedited delivery though :guilty:
-Getting all gussied up to go out to dinner or dancing at Pleasure Island.
-La Nouba could be a nice addition to an evening out.
-Les Chefs de France has always been so romantic to me! A nice glass of wine or champagne, rich food, and waiters with accents!
-A Couples Massage at the SSR or GF. I think they can come to the room, too.

I think you're going to find just having a trip for the two of you to relax and enjoy each other's company is going to be therapeutic and exactly what Dr. Love ordered. Youve got the family trip coming up, this is the time to spend wrapped up in each other and in your own little world. Muchos kudos to you for taking the step and keeping the passion burning. Although we don't have kids, this is something we think is so important for us as a couple and as a family.

Well one morning my gf and I parked at Epcot and hopped on the monorail. We got in the very last car and we had it to ourselves....use your imagination :teeth:

Oh My!!! :lmao:

On our honeymoon 16 years ago we stopped by the fast food place at the Grand Floridian and picked up a box lunch. Then we rented one of the pontoon boats and took it way over past Fort Wilderness. We had that part of the lake pretty much to ourselves. You could do the same thing from any of the resorts on bay lake or seven seas lagoon.
