Secondly ... Sandy, that was NOT a beer bath! (Trust me, I know a beer bath when I see it, it would have involved beer running off the edge of the table onto our laps, etc.) I need some back up here ... I won't ask Mom ... BARB, you saw the picture when you arrived. You could still see them pretty well, huh?
And yes DD#1. It was a very good beer. A red lager, specialty of the house.

You know, those Ravens aren't doing too bad. They made my Bronco's look PITIFUL a few weeks ago, and on Monday night football to-boot! I just had to find a little enjoyment out of the game, when I saw a 'cleaned up' picture of Chris Redmon. OMG is he cute! He just knocked Howie Long out of my "crush" list! LOL. See, I really AM into football.

Happy Monday everybody! I had to finish payroll before I could play or I'd have a mutiny here!
No Barb, I'm NOT lurking! You're so mean to me and I can't believe that you convinced Sandy I'm the troublemaker and Mom didn't even stand up for me! I knew I should have come to that party.....of course, now they're calling Mom the troublemaker...heehee
I have another tux question since I haven't taken care of that yet.
Has anyone ever rented one onboard? I'm a little leary of getting a good fit that way but I hate to have to lug one with us if I don't have to. Help please!

Well I'm impressed you all really know your Epcot. I think you have virtually answered all the questions but I'll go over them once more!!!
To start, which attractions are the following lines of dialog from?
1) "surprise tests? , yeah, pick one" - From Test Track pre-show, a great point where she picks the barrier test!
2) "...your late!, and you think about that next time" - From Ellen's Energy Adventure, it's said right at the end of the preshow
3) "think of all those tiny lawsuits!" - Said by Dr. Nigel Channing during Honey I Shrunk the Audience
4) "a list to fill you in, a formula for..." - Mmm I think I'll give you another chance on this one, here's a bit more "a list to fill you in, a formula for feedin', in plain sight and black and white, it's fascinating reading!"
5) "and as out appetite for information and knowledge grew..." - From Spaceship Earth "...the world began to shrink"
6) When & where might you hear the song by Cusco called "Flute Battle" played? Well Schrolls is very close, it's actually played just before Illuminations (during what you might call the pre-show... the period when they make the 15, 10 & 5 minute announcements). After working there for a while I could tell how long it was until Illuminations just by listening to which peice of music is playing round World Showcase, they are the same each night.
7) Which company used to sponsor The Living Seas? - United Technologies.
8) What is the name of the quick service restaurant in Japan? - Yakitori House
9) The current narrator on Spaceship Earth is Jeremy Irons but who used to narrate this attraction before it's rehab? - Yes Walter Cronkite cause thats the way it is! (Walter Cronkite can still be seen at the start of the Animation Tour at Disney MGM Studios
10) Mission Space, which is due to open next year, is being built on the site that previously contained which popular Epcot attraction? - Horizons, oh I remember watching that being pulled down, so sad

Hello Everyone! Happy monday! Officially less then two weeks to go!!!! Garry has rented a tux on board before and it worked out very well. You can either go to a local tux shop and ask to be measured for an out of own rental or have someone you love and trust take the measurements. Go to cruiselineformals.com and they will show you how to take the measurements. (except for the coat size ifyou don't know it I can tell you how to get it.) Once on board, the tux will be brought to your cabin or be there waiting in your cabin for you. TRY IT ON THEN! If you need a different size or some tailoring (minor of course) call I believe it's housekeeping or whatever it is on a ship. Their inventory on the ship isn't very big so it's on a first come first serve base type of thing. It has worked out well for us both times we used it. I hope this helps!

I finally made it on-line! I have trying all day, but the phone keeps ringing!
We get to see her in 1-1/2 hours. Jerry's parents are coming with us.
Our friends are wonderful. They had been saving stuff for us and we didn't know it. The list of items received:
2 strollers (1 big, 1 small)
1 fold up playpen
1 car seat
1 box of clothes
1 baby bathtub
1 box of bottles
1 booster seat
1 bathtub ring
1 diaper genie
2 diaper bags (1 big, 1 small)
We are almost set to bring her home. I still need diapers, wipes & formula.
We are getting closer to being able to pack for vacation. I printed off the DIS cruisers list.
At least I got some sleep last night.

Where did you find the dis packing list?
Finally got the rest of our plans done. We are staying one night in Orlando when we get back & going to US (okay, don't kill me we have never been there & Mickey really deserves a whole week) Got the tickets & hotel booked. It's getting so close.

Dudette1 and anyone else flying in the day of the cruise, I was just wondering if you want, since I know we want Palo ressies and will be waiting in line, if you want to give us your days and times and if we don't see you in line, make them for you? That is if you can make them for other people! We are planning on being there first thing at the port and getting to the Palo line and Flounder's line when we get on board.( that is after a quick bit to eat at topsiders)

Hi everyone, just checking in with all you chatty people. Nothing new to report except we are ONE day closer. How many women are wearing long dresses and how many are wearing short dresses for semi-formal? The cruise tips that DU sent me stated two formal nights. I am so wishy washy on what to wear for semi. Just got a 200.00 long dress for 24.00. Do I or don't I keep it? Bad part of it is, is that it is the same color as my other long dress but for 24.00????????? Help me, I am too tired to think.

Jaymee came crying into out bedroom. I knew she had been sick but it was getting worse. So back to the Dr this morning come to find out she has Mono and some other virus on top of the mono!!
The Dr said if she isn't better in two day she cant go on the cruise. I am beside myself! I have been playing and saving for 2 years.
Please Please Plase pray she gets better,

Oh Barb, you bet she is in our prayers. I had a severe case of mono but it seems that Doctors are taking a different approach now. My daughter got it and didn't miss school at all. I missed 6 weeks with 2 weeks of 1/2 days. They said she could go if she thought that she could stay awake. Will antibiotics take care of the other virus?
