OK you want the Denver story ..... here goes
we are in Wal Mart walking down the isles .... we hit the last isle and start down it . just then a german shepard in a generic cape ( the vest that most SDs wear - SDs mean service dogs ) come around the corner the shepard starts barking growling lunging and is wanting to attack my Dog. Im not talking a little bark or growl we r talking have you ever seen the poliece dogs when they go after someone how vicious they are and how the cops can barley hold em back .... that was this dog . He ALMOST got away from his owner and if he did im POSITIVE he would have gone for my dogs throat killing him on the spot . Denver just followed my lead stayed calm and kept walking he never EVER even LOOKED at the other dog .... it was like the dog was never there . One elderly couple dropped their basket and started out the door saying they would never shop there again if wal mart let agressive dogs like that in ... another lady stood there plastered to the side of the isle hoping she wouldnt get bit and one lady stood there with her jaw dropped ( i know this only because thats what my mom who was with me told me - i can see some but no detail and no central vision ) it was SCARY but Denver handled it like a true service dog . I know that shepard was a pet in a cape because of its behavior . service dogs do NOT ever growl bark bite sniff items on shelves or even mak eye contact with anyone ... they just dont . thats what a good service dog is

We went to the head of the store got his name he asked the lady to leave but POOF she had vanished before he could find her ( probb because she knew it was not a SD ) and i have contacted my Lawyer . A poliece report was filed and my Lawyer is writing to coorperate to make sure that the empluyees do not EVER let that dog in again .
The sad thing is that wal mart was recently sued by a bunch of people and now they are so afraid to ask at the door if the dog is a service dog or not they let ANYONE in who SAYS the dog is even if it is not in a cape - THATS WRONG !!! In the case of the shepard they didnt do anything wrong by letting it in ... it had a cape on and they thought it was a legit dog ..... but it obviously wasnt .
What makes me mad is 3 nights prior there were 2 pet dogs in a cart they were a bichon and a ****zu - they were only PETS and when i came around the corner with my dog one tried jumping out to bite Denver - the owners kid was in the cart and grabbed the dog just in time .... but when i asked the manager to ask them to leave - they left .... good but bad - who is letting PETS in at the doors ? AND what if the agressive bichon met the agressive shepard ? a death for sure and then what happens with dogs when they fight like that is if you try to break it up and do it wrong - the dog re directs on to the nearest person and attacks them .....
SAD SAD SAD !!!!AND 3 month prior to that i had an incident there with an employee threatening to KICK my dog ! because she hated dogs and they shouldnt be allowed in wal mart !!!!!
what is this world coming to ?
And, we quite enjoy making the trip about the Wonder dropping off the goodies.
My anticipation for this cruise is nuts!
