Wilma - since some have not responded and some have maybe we should re figure the list ? can u send me a PM of the definate takers and we can go from there? ! Thanks
Denver and i have been very busy these past few days . I am looking forawrd to going to disneyland next Tuesday night to watch fantasmic and the fireworks with my friend diane from canada !
YAY

Logged onto DCL last night at midnight and got my palo ressie for this trip. Probably the easiest time I have ever had getting on.

Good luck to everyone in getting what you want

Hey. Was in the mall today - i noticed these Halloween bags on sale for $2.50 each at the Disney Store... They are about 12"W x 14"T x 8"D (and are made of really inexpensive fabric so I don't know how long they will last) but if anyone is looking for inexpensive MM candy sack, this is definately something to consider...

(I don't know what I did before I had a camera phone!!)

Woot! Got our ressies for Palo yesterday, we were thinking about booking other tours, but decided against it, we will wing our day at Nassau. We have Palo that night at 6 too. I am sooo excited!!!

We thought about doing the segway tour, but since it is our first time in Nassau we want to look around and see what shenanigans we can get into :rotfl:
If I was a rich woman though, I would LOVE to do the dolphin trainer for a day excursion.

We got bike rentals for Cast Away Cay as well, we really liked them last time, it was fun running all over the island and not having to wait for the tram to Serenity Bay.

Tomorrow I am going shopping for material to start on my costume, Yay!

We haven't booked anything in the end. I quite fancied trying Palo but since it's our friends' first cruise, we didn't really want to have them miss any of the dining rooms and it's only 3 nights - plenty of time for Palo on future cruises, I think ;)

Still undecided on the Segway tour. DH has decided he would like to see more of Nassau than just the shops. Any ideas from anyone who's been there before?

Oh boy!!!! The time has gone so fast. My sister is going to WDW while we are on the cruuise and we will meet her there when we get off the boat. My grandson will turn 5 on 11-1, so what a better way to end the cruise. So we made our ADR's on her reservation yesterday. Can't believe it is really happening. WDW is a suprise to AJ so shhhhhhh.

Got my reservations for Palo have never been so thought we could try it this time . Think we will do a 4 night for next year and then think a 7 night when DCL comes to California in 2011 !!!! I cant wait and I called over the weekend to pay off the cruise and the lady said she didnt know what disney had planned for california ( when i told her i was bummed i wouldnt see castaway cay ) but thinks they have something special planned OH I HOPE SO !!!! I hope DCL stays here forever and ever !!! YAHOOooooooo but I admit i like going to FL too. I am also going to WDW the day we get off the ship .... should be fun we have hopper tix last year we did all 4 parks in 1 day it was CRAZY NEVER AGAIN i will skip hollywood and epcot this time unless i can talk mary into doing epcot for the food part but i know we r planning the day at animal kingdom :)

Soooo... remember how I decided to be brave and try my hand at sewing a seemingly innocent pattern for the cruise? Remember?

Well... that pattern is eeevil and it is just a skirt so far. Geez! It's a mess! And I am just on the cutting up part. I made a mistake and got too little fabric the first time around, plus cut it the wrong way, so today I went to get more and thank goodness Joann's had a sale, I went back and tried to cut it again and I made it!... until I noticed the waistband was in no way, shape or form gonna get around my body. I am not sure what is wrong, but the waist measure for a size 16 is impossible, I am not even telling what it said for a size 22 because it was bananas  yes...

Anyhow... I added some inches to the waist and now I gotta make up by adding to the back and... I won't keep on boring you, but I feel like I am building an airplane blindfolded and hungover while a little money throws coconuts at me :rotfl2: Stop it already with the coconuts!! :headache:

Ahem... yeah... uhhh... anyway, keep tuning in at 11 for the news because I might make it on a national level by the time I get to sewing.:rolleyes1

Oooh I wonder what it will be? It sounds exciting!

DH is extremely hyper and walks very very fast, the first two times we went to WDW he was so insanely hyper that he dragged me across 4 parks plus DTD Non-Stop from 8 a.m. until 11 p.m. I was so sore the next day I couldn't even get my feet on the floor without "ow"ing all the way around :rotfl:

My brand new Dr Scholl's sneakers gave up before reaching Mexico at Epcot the morning after, the sole on my right foot and the insides just came apart, I secretly was happy because we had to go back to the hotel, of course with me limping like a wounded animal all the way there :rotfl:

It's taken me a while but I have gotten in better walking shape and now if we do all 4 parks is just to do select rides and with a nap and a sit down lunch in the middle.

It helps to have annual passes and living so close, we don't feel rushed to see everything at once anymore. Thank goodness!!! :lmao:

Wow, it sounds like you certainly have your hands full with making that costume. We are still undecided on costumes - we're not big into costume parties and the like here in the UK and it seems such a waste to buy a costume that will only get worn once or twice. Having said that, if we get the chance to buy something while we are over there, before the cruise, we may do so. The kids are definitely wanting to dress up but I am having a nightmare trying to find costumes at a reasonable price - and the US Disney store want to charge a fortune for shipping ($70 to the UK :scared1:)

I think we may end up ordering costumes and getting them shipped to our resort.

Hey guys!! Hope all is well with everyone! Haven't posted in a while so thougt I'd pop by and say "Hello". Can't wait until our HalloWonder cruise!! See you soon!!

Joh-

It is just a thought but what if you had disney US ship your costumes to the port / your stateroom ????? I know my last cruise people shipped most of their FE sruff to the port why not a costume??????

I have been soooooooo busy . We rescued 2 dogs and it has been non stop! Looking forward to the cruise like never before :-)

Hey Cari, we thought of that and are considering having some costumes shipped to our resort :)

I will PM you later this week with the amended list for FE gifts - I think you may need to do some scooting around of people as there are a couple of newcomers and a couple to come off.

Joh - Sounds great ... I think your right some to come off some to add ..... hope the shipping works for you let me know if you need the address for the port i have it

Hi guys! Just wanted to drop in and give some signs of life :lmao:

Work is keeping me busy, plus I just got in contact with Disney Fairytale Weddings and we have already been assigned a wedding coordinator and we are having a site visit while we are at WDW at the end of September. I am sooo excited! It is difficult to keep it mostly to myself :rotfl:

My costume is coming along, I had to re-do the skirt, but the top part is actually looking sorta neat. You can def tell it is home made and one of my first attempts, but I am getting better at it every day.

It is getting soooo close!

Ooh who have you been assigned?

I wish we could have had a site visit, it sounds a lot of fun, but we just couldn't afford another holiday to be able to do this unfortunately.

65 days until our holiday now and 69 days until our DFTW!! So that means 77 until we're all cruising!

I have Diane, she called me right away and has already answered any questions I had left after she sent me a bunch of info. She was very nice and set up our site visit straight away, she even has us penciled down for our choice date and venues already. I was shocked since it is well over a year and a half before we have our vow renewal.

DH and I are so excited! Can't wait to see all the venues. :thumbsup2

That's so exciting, when's your big day?

Well, my kids have gone to stay with their respective grandparents for a couple of weeks so DH and I are having some 'alone' time, which is great. We have some decorating to do but I am also hoping to get my FE gifts finished. We should be finalising the lists in the next couple of days since the cut-off date is tomorrow :thumbsup2

hey you guys!!!

my mom wanted me to sign on and tell you we got a new stateroom. but we dont know the number yet. so we'll let you know as soon as we do!!
