I know they have a room at Palo's where groups have had dinner/brunch together. I wonder if we could book that. I love Palos!

Just out of curiousity, how long will our initial DISmeet probably last? Or does it just depend how long each individual wants to hang around?

Probably no more than about an hour because the lifeboat drill takes place around 4 pm so everyone will have to head back to their rooms to get ready for that.

We are still in for FE. I've sent Joh a couple of PM's with our new #. You are right Joh, they do not have Palo brunch on 3 night cruises. I've already made a lot of my FE gifts, but I will adjust if some in the group have changed their mind.

Hope all is well and can't wait to see everyone in Oct!!

And we are back again.
The dessert party was wonderful, the location is great and the selection of desserts was amazing, plus free drinks. I think it was very well worth the price, I hope they keep it.

The tables were assigned and they even had name cards for the families, we had an awesome view of the fireworks and even SpectroMagic.

We have the Main Dining seating. I like to eat when its time. There are four of us. The cut-off for the FE sounds like a good idea. I sure am ready for a VACATION. Hurry Up October!!!!

They had photopass photogs available to take pics too, so no insane lines to take pics with the castle, no insane hustle and bustle in Main Street to dodge.

we have late seating ...can you REALLY request sitting together? since we rotate every night how does it work trying to get on the same roataion schedule??? We ask for a table for 2 just because not EVERYONE likes eating with a dog under the table so i do it out of respect for other guests but if someone wants to try to arrange we r in for sitting with fello hallowonders !!!!! that would be way cool . We have second seating did i say that already LOL im Disneyland delerious ! I went today for a few hours with my friend her daughter and the neighbors kid i was babysitting it was fun but HOT ! we were worn out by the time we got back .

ok ok ok I couldnt resist .... I know you will all be so sick of Denver pics but he says to tell you he wants to make sure you all know what he looks like so when you see him on the ship you will know it is him and not goofey or pluto

this is him last year on small world holiday one of his FAVORITE rides ( Pirates is top fave though )

I wish they did small world hollidays at WDW, they don't even change the haunted mansion (boy do I miss Disneyland) By the way, I have late seating too, but I was trying to get it switched to early so we can get a good spot for the pirate party. I was on another cruise blog and they said they just linked their ressies together and they were able to be put on the same dining rotation. Since there were so many of them on that cruise they were considered a convention. I don't know if they got any other perks or not because of that but at least they were all put together in one section of the restaurant. I thought that sounded kinda neet since I may or may not have tablemates and how cool would that be to have already met your tablemate (at the dismeet).

I think DH would love to meet Denver and wouldn't mind having dinner with him . Despite, he is a service dog so I am sure he is always on his best behaviour.

I wouldn't mind linking ressies one bit, I was thinking on skipping the dining rooms this time because I reeeeally dread the whole awkward first dinner of getting to know your table mates. We had great ones last time mind you, but I am shy and it takes a lot of energy to be outgoing with complete strangers

I think what people do is swap ressie numbers, then ask with to be seated together through Disney or their TA.

We have main dining. With taking a 4 yr old did not want to eat late. Never have eaten early. Guess that way we will finally be hungry for dessert buffett.

Just to let you all know that I have updated some of the info in Post #1 again, added a couple of new groups to the FE exchange list and the meet list.

I just wanted to raise a possible issue about the FE exchange and ask your advice. When Cari (denversees4me) allocated the groups for the FE exchange, I sent a PM to most everyone on the list (with the exception of the regular posters on this thread) to let them know the lists had been posted and what group they had been allocated. A couple of people didn't respond to my PM and haven't posted on this thread (or the DIS, as far as I can tell) since the first/last time they actually posted here. What should we do about them? Do we still include them as far as FE gifts go? Or remove them from the lists?

Should I try to send PMs again to those who haven't posted recently?

The only reason I ask is that I am making FE gifts, as are a few others that I know of, and they are pretty time-consuming and I really didn't want to waste time making gifts for people who have no intention of participating but just signed up because it seemed like a good idea at the time.

What do others think? I would welcome your input
