O.K. I had to post this one.
If you look carefully, you can see it takes place in Parrot Cay.
The pup decided to excuse itself from duty for just a bit. And no, it was not ours.

No, that is far as the nose went and it was just for a brief moment.
It was a very good assist dog.

ok so i couldnt quite see that one but im assuming it was a service dog with its nose close to the table?????
Denver says its hard to resist sometimes but a good service dog would NEVER do that !!! but he sais to the dogs defense.... it was on vacation LOL so he guesses it was ok LOL and he said he is not allowed out of his harness while we r out and about but he too got to break the rules last year while we were on the adults only island at castaway a disney staff member came walking by and said awwwww let him go in the water hes on vacation too !!!! So this mom did a bad no no and took him out of his work gear and went to the far far far end of the beach and let him go for a fast swim - he went in 5 feet turned around came back shook off wagged his tail as if to say FINALLY MOM and then i dried him off and back on went the harness . The bummer was that night i had to give him a good rinse down before we went back on board and had to wait for him to dry before i could even do that .... it was a HUGE hassle for a small swim but Denver is worth every bit !

Awww Belle and Dever are super cute. I don't know how well they would get along with our bunny Timbit. He is very friendly! My parents dog is scared of Timbit! lol

That dog was on duty 99.9% of the time.

Belle loves the bunnies. The little ones she just lets bounce around the yard. The larger ones, she loves to chase. Don't think she'd hurt one if she caught it.

Now Canada geese. That's a different story. She dislikes them.
She was bit when she was smaller and hasn't forgotten.
When we are at the park, it is in the water they go.
She does not back down any more despite all the wing waving and hissing.

OH MY GOSH it is soooo hot here in CA but we dont get the humidity like they do in Florida so I guess I should stop complaining about it being 102 on the porch in the SHADE ! And to think im going to be crazy enough to go to Disneyland on Sunday and fight the crowds alllll day . It is a friends b day so we are celebrating . I will be sure to get some pics as it will be Denver Hamlett and Cougar ( all three guide dogs ) hanging out with Mickey . I think I will kennel Denver for the most part till it cools off though .Im already shopping for our trip /cruise and just bought the COOLEST folding dog bowl . I wish I had the smarts to make things like that .

Poor Belle getting but by a goose awwww tell Belle I know EXACTLY how she feels ... when I was little I disturbed the eggs in a mother gooses nest and WHAMO she bit me on the butt and managed to pull my diaper OFF lol
Denver dosent get too excited over anything so im sure he would love the bunny and the geese alike

Fantastic pictures Kat - looks like you had a great weekend.

Well, we have BIG plans this weekend - we are into double digits on Sunday (for our WDW trip) and so we are having a big party on Saturday, with the Longstaffs, our travelling companions. We've got Disney games, loads of yummy food (some of which is reminiscent of previous holidays) and obviously plenty of alcohol

Not long to go now, I am so excited

A friend just got back from a cruise on the Carnival Glory, she put up the pics she took and I am so glad I have this cruise coming up soon!

I can already see a comedic situation involving Denver's potty and a kid that might think it is sort of like a sand box... just with grass...

The party sounds like loads of fun wilma-bride! We are going down to Orlando and attending the fireworks dessert party at MK with friends, we are gonna be sooo tired of road trips by next week

It's OK though, I am on call again in August, so that means I will be tied in Tallahassee for the month until September.

Just booked this the other day with an onboard deposit I've been sitting on forever. We are headed to Disney in just a few short weeks, but I decided there's no place I'd rather be on my 40TH birthday than on one of the Disney ships! So I'll just have to take another 2 days off in October...
