Hi All,
We set sail for our first Disney cruise just two weeks from today!!!:cheer2: I had promised my son and husband to wait to see "Rogue One" until the cruise. Can anyone tell me if it's still playing and if so, for how much longer it will be shown?? I hope I didn't set them up for disappointment!:confused3

Thanks so much!

You can call DCL directly to get that information: call 888-325-2500, choose the reservations option, then ask what movies will be showing the week you cruise.

We just got off the Dream Friday. It played several times and was featured more than any other movie. They played it in the main theater where the shows are held.
They also sold star wars characters cups that were very cool. They had Chewbacca and BB8 as well as a huge popcorn holder that was like a huge flying ship (not the falcon).
I bought 2 BB8 drinks, 2 bottles of water, 1 popcorn with the collectible holder and an additional popcorn fir around $36.
They also showed Moana, Pete's Dragon, Dr strange, marvel civil war and I forget the other one. Both Moana and star wars played multiple times.

Movies play on the ship starting the same day as they premiere on shore. We find that they will typically play for quite some months afterwards. The bigger the blockbuster, the more frequently and longer they play. We saw The Jungle Book onboard in December and it premiered in April.

Yes it definitely will be playing

Phew! Thank you all! My DH and DS will be very pleased! Were the snack containers you purchased for sale outside the Theater or were you saying in general on the ship they were available? TIA!

My daughter is hoping to see the new Beauty and the Beast. It premiers on the same day as we set sail in March. So hopefully it will be playing onboard

It was for sale at Preludes just outside the theater. Also if you brought the container back it was $1.50 refills. They give you popcorn in s holder so the container stays clean. The drinks are in the bb8 though.

Do you happen to remember who the cruise director and captain were? Did they have a club host? Our last time on the Dream the assistant cruise director was the club host and wasn't very good so was just curious if that's still how it is.

Sorry I can't remember. I want to say Stephen for cruise director but can't be sure. I looked through my navigators but could not see cruise director or captain listed.
I also checked the birthday card my son got and it just says cruise staff.

No problem. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't Trent. Thanks!
