IMO...it wasn't anything that exciting. I'll say that I knew 99% of what was on that website just from doing my DVC research. I also seem to be able to find out info easier on the Dis and AllEars than I can on the member site.

I agree- Casbill and Tagrel's points calculators are better than DVC's also.

Did you get your member package yet? You have that and your member cards to wait on now-the member cards will arrive well after your member package, but at least now you can book a stay if you want. Congrats!!!!

Our points are in today. We are done. This whole thing started March 25th with accepted offer, ROFR on April 2, passed 4/14, closed 6/9. It is nice to be looking back on it instead of going thru it! Now the planning and fun can begin!!

Well after all this waiting we are finally going on our first DVC trip this Monday at Hilton Head! Its been a long haul but it all worked out... even the wait list was a breeze!

We've been home from our trip 10 days Had lots of bad news last week. Still working on trip report, long story. Hope everyone has had lots of good news while I was gone.

We just signed a contract for a HHI contract and are waiting for ROFR again. What is the waiting timeframe right now as of April of 2009?
