All these great deals that are actually passing is telling me Disney thinks it needs to hold on to its money. I wonder what the "new" floor is for a lot of these resorts??

I emailed DVC Resale and they just emailed me back that they heard back a few min ago and Disney waived their right to purchase the contract!!
14-21 days for closing documents. Does that sound right?

For Magic Vacation Title, yes, that sounds about right for them to get out the closing docs.

That is crazy. Everyone in the closing thread who have used different title companies are getting theirs within a few days and some the same day. I can't imagine it takes that long to get out closing docs

They aren't the speediest, that's for sure. I've bought through them before and it was fine, but very slow. It's not enough to deter me from using them again, though. In the end, a couple of weeks usually isn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things if they have a contract I really want.

Still, it's annoying when Mason Title can get you the documents in a day or two and other title companies cannot.

me neither!! I have been checking my email like every 5 mins. We submitted 9/27

A couple emails asking if it is possible to switch title companies is possible and I have been told they will be ready by the end of the week.

As said above they aren't the speediest. I'm using a different broker this time around and asked for Mason. I did not request Cammy, but I was told I should have my closing docs in the next few days. With Magic Vacation Title, it took 2 weeks each time for my closing docs to arrive.

They told me the same and i said switch closing companies since they hadnt started the documents yet and within 2 hrs i had our closing documents.

With Cammy, it's day two after she receives the seller's docs, at the latest. I even got some the next day once.

Congratulations! This makes me hopeful that AKV just takes a little longer, ours was sent 9/19 and we haven’t heard anything. I was starting to get worried with all of these other contracts passing so quickly.

I’ve used Mason 5 times now and 3 time was with Cammy and she sometimes gets me my closing doc even before my broker tells me Disney waived the contract. The ones without Cammy range from 1-2 weeks to get my closing doc after my broker informs me Disney waived ROFR. So for speedy closing, looks like we need to even specify Cammy since not everyone in the same company works at her pace. She is simply amazing at her job.

Good luck to those that submitted at the end of September. Here's hoping the ROFR lady is feeling fiscally conservative today.
