Was so Excited to finally find an Aulani deal that I thought was a fair price! We fell in love with this resort back in Feb and wanted some points that we could dedicate to banking and borrowing for our trips there. This is an International Seller too so hope this one sails through quickly. I'm nervous of those 2022 points but have a trip planned for Disney in January so if I get these points quick enough I might be able to still utilize.

Had to bug for an answer! Fiiiiinally she told me they got the waiver “this weekend.” 😒 Don’t they know I need an exact date for DIS? Anyway, we are at DL this weekend so feeling especially excited!!

So this is somewhat off-topic but word on the street is that VDH could go for pre-sale as early as March or April 2023. Now I'm contemplating whether I should cancel this contract and saving my pennies for VDH direct points. I already own 100 VGC resale points and only plan to do 1 or 2 staycations at Disneyland Resort per year. What would you all do?

Oh gosh, I was doing pretty well with not checking my email but after seeing all of the passes yesterday I’ve started checking my email regularly. We’re using Mason Title so I’m also checking my bank account now too 😩. We’re 9/24 so I’m hoping to see some more passes in the high 9-teens and twenties today.

For Magic Vacation Title, yes, that sounds about right for them to get out the closing docs.
We closed a contract with Magic last month and had closing docs within a few hours of passing ROFR, same day. Squeaky wheel gets the grease, tell them you need to close ASAP to book a trip with 7-month window approaching.

Thanks! Not sure what happened but about an hour after getting closing docs, title co refunded my deposit. I thought it was mistake so I reached out and she said broker notified them that seller cancelled. Maybe they want more money now 🤷🏻‍♀️
Call the broker and put some pressure on them. Tell them your attorney (not me) is encouraging you to sue to enforce the contract. Maybe they just need a little nudge to do the right thing.
