And to talk about the sometimes randomness of it all again, I have had the exact opposite experience with my last two purchases. Two years ago at the same time of year Mason had the closing docs to me one day after ROFR and it was fully executed within three days. This time it's been a week since the delayed ROFR and still not a word from Magic.
It's so random

If you are not buying AKL or VGF at a big discount or a lot of banked points, should not be much concern anyway. I was told the broker does not send it to ROFR, the Escrow company does that - who is your escrow with and maybe others here can put you more at ease on the timing. You should definitely follow up with Escrow and ask them to confirm it was sent.
I have been following up with broker and escrow on a linked email for weeks. They kept saying there were investigating. Latest news is that Disney had it but overlooked it so it’s being submitted for ROFR now. I have no idea what really happened or how fast it will be processed. Someone definitely dropped the ball, but determining who is likely not gonna happen.

There were some reports of a stack of ROFR that were overlooked, misplaced or misdelivered or something. It's possible you were within those. So sorry hopefully it's more speedy here on out.

My experience with Disney has been, once they “Admit” a screwup, they get on making it right. Guessing your delay will end quickly now, would expect something by Monday (just a wild guess, no inside info)… assuming it was Disney and not the Escrow which dropped the ball…

Arbogast---$90-$20937-200-AKV-Dec-27/24, 200/25, 200/26- sent 3/26

My first contract hopefully!

How did I do?
My answer to this for both of you is in the form of three questions:

1.) Is it the resort you wanted, whether for staying there or as SAP with lower dues and later expiry?

2.) Is it the correct UY for your travel habits?

3.) Are you and your family (if applicable) excited about using the points and staying there many times for happy vacations together over the next few years, possibly decades?

If the answer to at least one of those is Yes, then you did perfectly :flower:. Don't get wrapped up in trying to get the best deal, as it might not the best deal for YOU. I myself have overpaid for some contracts (looking at you, direct VGC) and underpaid for others...only to turn around and sell those because we got less value out of the cheaper points than the overpaid ones. Value is so subjective in this case. Don't compare :).
