I get that you are in a very frustrated state…. but on a resale purchase Disney has no control over anything unless they receive the documents….

Making a fuss, calling, or emailing Disney….. it won’t do anything to fix your issue and will just make you more frustrated.

The issue could only be with either the title company or with the delivery service.

Title forwarded me the email proof that deed was sent to Disney in January, they also sent me proof of the wire clearing to Disney for the estoppel which is paid at closing. So Disney did get something from them how it is normally done by email. My issue was with being told you can only email MA, (which i did a week ago and got no response). The non ability to speak to who handles the transactions at Disney is frustrating. Like I said in another post Im not just antsy for points and this all took place 2 weeks ago, it's been a LONG time. And had I not advocated for myself and escalated today Id still be waiting to no avail.

Ok…. so the normal process are for things to be done via email and Disney already received it? So you are just waiting on a status update?

To give you an idea, a contract that I sold and closed on 1/23 still has the points reflecting on my dashboard. So…. it is taking a while….

The title company showed me the email they sent with the deed to Disney and it was stamped in January. This time dues had to be paid at closing and that is what had to be mailed with docs and I guess is lost. Im still a bit confused on the entire thing.

So title company just called me and now is saying everything goes to Disney by MAIL not email. And the post office lost the documents and the check for dues.

So…on occasion I work somewhere that does a lot of mailing, and I am most surprised they didn’t send this priority FedEx or UPS with signature tracking.

In another turn of events, spoke to the escrow officer again and they say yes email is how Disney will transfer the membership the documents/check was only to pay the dues. So back to square one. The title co has tracking on the package but I agree FedEx or UPS should be used, USPS is not a great option for important time sensitive documents. Also, I should have been informed so I could have been tracking it myself and I would have known there was an issue 3-4 weeks ago

that's exactly how i got stuck with this 2nd contract... no way they will accept this offer....

somehow got accepted and should be hearing back any day now... if it doesn't pass ROFR, i'm staying off dvcforless or at least i need to.

I've added 2 other Timeshare other than Disney recently and shouldn't be buying more. It's almost like an addiction at this point (addiction to great deals)

I know dvcforless is sooo addicting! I saved a search called "Good Deals" for anything 5 star and up and now I get an email daily. The seller accepted my offer as well and I'm signing the contract tomorrow thank God my wife didn't get pissed I didn't ask her first i wasn't expecting a yes for $95 pp and 2024 points on it i just told her it won't pass ROFR
