Robin Hood in WDW?

I know this is a bit of strange request but just wondered if anyone knew how often Robin Hood is in and around WDW at all?

Robin Hood is one of my DH all time favourite Disney Characters and I just know he will be disappointed if we don't manage to get a meet with him or an autograph as this should be a once in a lifetime trip for us!

So how often is he out ( if at all ) ? and where are the best spots to see him?

I love Robin Hood too! I've only seen him once at EPCOT, nowhere else though. But he had Prince John and Friar Tuck with him too! I was so excited! They were just past the main gate.

We got this pic in May 06 at MK. He was right when you walked in MK by the firestation. However, we went twice in 07 and I went in Apr 08 and didn't see him. From what I read, he has become a pretty rare occurance now. But keep you eyes open, you may find him.

We saw him at the parade at MK in Nov 07...

We saw him in January of this year way back at the back of Toontown (where the railroad comes in). There were a lot of characters there - looked to be a training/audition exercise.

Thank-you all for your replies! Your pictures are fab - can't wait to show DH ( he away on nightshift now) he will be pleased to see that its not an impossiblity to find him but he isn't going to be one of the easiest by the sounds of it!

I suppose these are the things which will make it all the more exciting really aren't they?!

Robin Hood is also one of my favorites, we've recently (within the past year or two) seen him, Friar Tuck, & Prince John at the entrance to Animal Kingdom just before opening. If nothing else once actually at the park you can check with Guest services to see if/when/where Robin Hood is making an appearance. Which will greatly help your chances at seeing him as you'll be provided a schedule.

The only place I've personally seen Robin Hood has been at the main gate of AK. I was so excited to see him! its neat to know that others have seen him MK and Epcot! Fun times!

Unfortunately Robin Hood (all the characters from Robin Hood, really) is really rare. He is quite hard to find. Probably the only spot he can be found right now is the Teardrop in Toontown (and it's hard to know who is there, as appearances are very random).

He no longer appears in the front of the park. The only characters in Town Square are the Family Fun Day characters on the Firehouse side, and the Pinocchio characters, Snow White, and Mary Poppins and Bert on the Expo Hall side.
