road trip to wdw: interesting spots to stop?

We are traveling from ny to wdw in august in a 20hr road trip and need suggestions on interesting places to stop, get out of the car and stretch our legs with 2 kids; ages 3 & 5. Last year we stopped in Baltimore at the train museum but we wanted to see if there was anything different.

Also if anyone has suggestions for sit down restaurants to stop at along the way that would be helpful too.
