rlovew - winner Scrapping with Swap Items Round 16

One of the things I think is a bonus to swappin is that you make quality things for everyone else and you are usually in that group so you get your own quality work back so its like your making it for yourself too!:)

I got 29 pages done at my all day crop this weekend, and that was because pretty much every page had swap stuff on them. Here's what I've used:

I'm going by memory on the creators of most of these so I apologize if I mess any up.

I know I am soooo late to comment but, I love what you did with my pieces! So great to see what you have done with them. :cloud9: Thanks!

And all your pages are just amazing! Great job. I do love them all.

I can't wait to join you guys in these some day - I have tons of swap pieces, but no photos are printed!!! :lmao: My first use of the pieces will actually be with the DL/DCA swap because I printed those photos in 2007! :sad2:

Love seeing what you all do here. :surfweb:

I finally uploaded my memory card today. I'm maxed out on entries, but here are a few other things I've used:

This was my EWP set from the most recent MK swap:

(For Adventureland I needed 2 vertical mats, and I ripped the background paper when I tried to take them off, so I just did a different background with all the same elements.

I still have 3 more completed pages that just need a couple small pictures but my photo editing software has been acting up. I'll post those whenever I finally get them done.

Great job NEE!!! :) They look great!!! I hope to scrap tomorrow.. I'm updating all my genealogy sourcing for our books...and I have decided their is so much info..that I'll do one book every other day til I'm caught up!!! It won't take long....but it does give you a headache!!

NEE the pages look great- Sorry about the paper ripping with the Adventureland stuff but I am glad you were able to use evything. I am looking forward to doing some quick pages from our aniversary this summer using those swap pages. I want to get pictures of us together in the different lands.

I used this one for photos from my sister's wedding of my hair being done- literally the only choice I got in the whole wedding was how my hair was being done- everything else down to the color of our stockings was her choices.

:cloud9: You used one of my pages.

They all look great.

Your hair is really pretty all in curls. Was it a perm or just lots of rollers?

Great pages, Rebecca! Yay - you used one of mine! (The Ryan that made the purple page is calanniebu)

What did you do for the toppers that you printed like the one for the purple page and the butterfly page? Print them on vellum?

While I could have printed them on vellum and often do- I actually used some quotes from quote books for these- making them really easy to complete.

Yay! You used one of mine:goodvibes Love your hair in the curls - I wish mine would hold without a perm

The only thing I could ever get to hold a curl with is a curling iron called solid gold. I believe it is actually made for African American hair (they were pictured on the package). Until I used it the curl would only stay in for an hour or 2 with lots of hairspray. This one I can curl it and get banana curls all the way down my back in 1.5 minutes a strand. Even if I sleep on them without washing my hair the curl is still there the next day (much less pronounced). I highly recomend it to anyone who has trouble with curling their hair.

Sounds good:goodvibes Mine is sort of in-between - won't straighten without straighteners, won't hold a curl:headache:

YIPPEE! you used my sweet pea page. i loved making that one. so nice to see it being used!
