Nothing like a MeMom shopping trip to start my Sunday morning! The buses are super cute. If only we could hop aboard anytime we wanted and make our way to WDW!!

We'll take turns traveling, and it'll all work out. He was talking with Jill about Skype last night. We'll all end up with that, I imagine.

Skype is great!!

My parents bought a place in Florida last year and got a new computer with webcam this year and we talk to them on skype a couple times a week. They love being able to see the boys and talk to them. they have been able to see them ready to go out trick-or-treating, saw them on Christmas (my father wasn't well and couldn't make the trip home) and the boys excitedly showed off presents and such.

I have promised to skype the boys from WDW in May which is making the idea of me being gone easier.

You can do 3 way conversations too but loose video when you do.

You know, I am one of those suckers for lifestyle reality shows. It's the whole fishbowl thing, I love seeing how other people live their lives and how different they are from mine. And as a kid I used to pretend that cameras were following me all the time! I wanted to be an old Hollywood starlet!

I bet he did. Jill was showing me some of your Disney pictures last night. I almost got the monorail, too, but figured I should save it for next time.

Oh, I want that Clue game. I loved Clue as a child and Disney Clue sounds even better. I'll have to see if I can find one of those.

I love that AK tree as well. You know, it might just be my favorite Disney Chrismtas tree. I think the ornaments on it are gorgeous and I love the animal theme. Also at the top of my list would be the big tree in WS. I love all the country themed ornaments on that one.

Every Disney park is so unique in its Christmas decor. AK is dear to my heart, as is staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge sometime. If I could work at a place like that, I think I would love it. The 'glitz' of the Hollywood Studios decor, the classic Christmas of Magic Kingdom and the global theme of an Epcot Christmas...I love them all!

Congratulations! I promise it will bring you much happiness. I made waffles yesterday morning. Brooklynn wanted her syrup on the side, so she dipped - one ear at a time and then the face. I had my favorite - pineapple and macadamia nuts (one of the few splurges I allow myself right now). Jill and John ate plain ones. Trent had a plain one, but since I mixed it in the same bowl as mine, there were some stray nuts, which he commented on. He picked them out of his waffle, so poor Mickey was looking pretty sad. Drew didn't eat a waffle - he's an egg man!

I watch the Duggars, when I remember it's on, but so far I haven't seen a bunch of fake drama and crazy conflict on that show. I do hope after the problems with this baby, though, that she will just settle down and be a mom and grandmother and let the younger people start having the babies. I watched J&K until they got stupid. I can't stand either one of them now and hate what happened to their family. I have watched Little People, Big World, but now it looks like they're going to be ridiculous, too. The Little Couple - they seem to be doing okay, as of now, but who knows. I think they should quit while they're ahead and go on with life. I don't watch the other 'real' ones. I really don't have the TV on a lot. I usually have music, a Disney podcast, or a sermon on in the background as I am working around the house.

It's funny how personalities are different. I would be running from cameras!

I'm glad it's warming up for you. Today was such a beautiful day here. We went to the beach with my cousins and their kids. It was so much fun and the water was surprisingly warm after having a cold week. I did have a little envy however, when one of my cousins was going to Disney right after. They were there for a few days last week and are now going back. Kimberly, 3, said "I'm going to take Jenny and Krista (friends) on my yellow Dumbo. No one is allowed to ride him when I'm not there.!"

We had to work this trip in after summer school and before church camp. We have since learned that we're probably not going to have the funding for summer school. Oh well, we're set and we'll stick with it.

I have to say she had a top notch nurse taking care of her tonight; she called my aunt out of concern for my Grandpa staying tonight on his own (I stayed with her one night last week, it's very exhausting). My Grandpa and aunt are with her tonight and I know she's in good hands.


Hope everyone has a happy Monday! I'm jealous of people who got to see the sun this weekend... we got more ice and snow.

I just don't understand what takes so long to give an answer. Both men who talked to him said he's just what they are looking for, and he's had three interviews. However, it doesn't make me feel very good they are not saying they have to interview until a particular date or have to see x number of candidates before they let him know. They seem to be leading him to believe he's the perfect fit, yet he didn't hear back yesterday. I guess the business world and the teaching world are very different. There are more specifics with a teaching job that you know you might have to wait on. If they don't let him know something in the next day or so, he just needs to put this behid him and move on to other options.
