I can take two feet of snow and freezing temps no problem. Tornadoes
They have sure done some damage around here in the past couple of years. One of the tornadoes paralyzed a mom of two little boys here. They later got an Extreme Makeover house, which is just right down the road from us. I heard recently she was having some serious health issues. I'll have to ask a teacher at my school, who is a friend of hers.
If I know where my phone is...usually when it rings I'm flying around the house trying to find it! I'm horrible at keeping track of my phone...but at least I've learned to keep it charged.
Okay, I have had my kids call my phone on more that twenty occasions because I can't remember where I put it, but here's what I do that makes me look really stoooopid. I will be on the phone with someone, and as I am gathering up my things to leave, I get my purse, keys, glasses, and phone. I'll have everything in my possession except the darn phone, which I cannot find to save my life...
until I remember I am talking on it.
I saw that you are having cake at your house tonight.
has anybody tried the disney parks app for verizon wireless. I just downloaded it today! Let me tell you..it is AWESOME! its $10 for 180 days. It tells you the weather for the day, attraction schedules for the day, character meet times, whether or not fast passes are available. it even lists the park map! Of course my mom and i just put together a little touring booklet and then i downloaded the app...probably don;t need half the stuff in the book now but oh well!
2 weeks today!! YEAH!!
Maybe Trent should check into that. He's the one with the fancy phone amongst our bunch.
I will celebrate your two weeks!
Thanks for the review, we are going to get it when we are 150 days out from our trip in Sept so we can play with it before we go.
I bet that will be fun to play with. I'll be looking forward to your report of it.
I'm finally getting the chance to catch up. I'm praying for Bella and the little boy at your school. One of my students was hit hard by tradegy for the quake in Haiti. She lost her uncle, her aunt, and a cousin in the quake. One of the children in the family survived and now they are in the process of trying to get her here to be with them. Pray for her to make it here safely.
Thoughts and prayers for your student's family. That is truly heartbreaking. Many, many lives have been altered forever because of this tragic event.
Hey Memom,
We finally got to make the gingerbread house tonight. Here are the results.
Until
Sorry to hijack your trip report.
Ours did this at one point until all the girls gathered 'round to hold it until the gluey icing hardened a bit.
You are always welcome to hijack. I love seeing everyone's families at play.
Brook, I am the very same way about my phone. I just was saying today that I have to call myself at least once a week to locate my phone.
The gingerbread house looked like a lot of fun even if it didn't pass its final building inspection.
One day last week, I couldn't find the phone.
Nothing unusual. I had Trent call it.
I came back to the bedroom to find the
cat ringing!

He was laying on top of it.
Dorky cat!
