Ringing in 2010, 6 months til we'll be back again

I won't even bother to calculate the distance for MOA. I know it would be a LONG way for me!

I do LOVE Gatlinburg though. Do you ever go there? Such a pretty place. We have been once and I've been wanting to go back. Don't know when that will be though. We're trying really hard to get our car paid off this year, so our next vacation will probably be close to home. And it won't be Disney. :sad2::guilty::sad1::sad::faint:

Let us know when you plan Indiana trips, and maybe you get to Louisville.
How'd you end up away from Indiana? A job?

Ah! Louisville I can likely do! Actually it's my family who live in Indiana who are the exports. They're all originally from London (Ontario, Canada) too, but moved away for work. My aunt who lives there, her now ex-husband was a pastor so they moved all over the place (Toronto, Spokane, Columbus, etc.), but now that they've split up and her eldest daughter has gotten married, they've settled down just outside of Indianapolis. I would imagine my next trip down will likely be in February or March.

Just coming out of semi-lurkdom (I've posted before, but just not regularly.) Faithfully following along again, and still. I so enjoy your reports, MeMom and Jill!

:goodvibes

yes, margot is my sweet niece. oh, we are not stressed about it. it will happen when it's supposed to! i did get a little stressed after a couple of months but now i'm just like IT WILL HAPPEN, ya know? ;) thanks though.

thanks! :goodvibes

You have such a fantastic attitude. I always told myslef... it will happen when it is supposed to happen. My DH always said the trying part was the most fun - haha.

I need to get caught up again here MeMom, but I just got a Ding! fare from Southwest...not sure when your Spring Break is though...

:cutie:

Since we are in between parts of the report I am going to "borrow" your TR for a few to show off my kiddos!

The Mall of America has a Disney Store!!!!!!

Just wanted to make sure everyone saw that to encourage a meet here. ;)

Also at the mall is:

  • an amusement park with things for every age
  • Lego Land
  • an aquarium
  • a Nascar store where you can "race" cars
  • many restaurants (Rainforest Cafe is one, and they used to have a Wolfgang Puck's!)
  • a movie theater
  • mini golf
  • an American Girl store
  • and an entire store of MAGNETS.
I knew that last one would get everyone all excited about making the trip!

Early October is a lovely time to visit Minnesota. The leaves are changing which is beautiful, and the weather is still warm(er).

Next to the Mall is an Ikea.
Across the high way is a big hotel with an indoor water park.
Minnesota also has a free zoo!

Lots to do!!

Have I convinced you yet? :hyper:

:teeth:

You are having a lot of wedding fun this year, aren't you?

The new pictures of Henry you put on FB are great!

That's the week after we return from Disney World and before church camp. There is no way Jill could take off again, unfortunately. We'll keep working on this mega-meet. Don't put it past us to plan a girl trip to Mall of America on a whim sometime. ;)

We really are having a lot of wedding fun! I told my SIL (the one that came with us to Disney), her turn was next.

Thank you on the FB pictures! He really likes his new "car bed".

I think the Mall of America trip sounds LOVELY! (in case you didn't catch that from my above post....)

Love this!!! So, so cute!

I want to. I haven't been since the kids were really little. I want to go when Dollywood is open. When I start putting in prices for hotels and figuring the things we'd have to pay for, Disney World with our AP's is every bit as competitive.

I don't know what we're doing next or when. Jill has decided she wants to go to Mall of America, and now she's saying drive and stop at St. Louis Zoo. She's like her mother sometimes, which is a tad bit crazy.

Always glad to have our readers speak up and join in!

We'll get back at it just as soon as I get some more pictures!

That week of teens, like about the 15th. I've seen them for $94. I can't even do that, really. I have to make myself just stay home and get all these bills paid down. I have a few more hospital bills from Drew and from me, and it'll help when those are gone.

I like the mommy-daughter picture. I love the one where the boys have her in a cart. There's no telling what all they're going to have her doing as she grows up! What a sweet little surprise she is! :lovestruc

I sure hope they plan to reinstate some of them. Seems like getting rid of 27-28 whatever it was stores across the country is an awful lot.

Love this!!! So, so cute!

Jill is determined to get up there. She's been once, a long time ago with a high school friend. There was some kind of Coke convention going on.

Tell us more about the hotel with the waterpark. Is it a Westgate?

I would LOVE to join in the all girls trip to Mall of America but....it's 20+ hours away...:sad2:

I could go visit my sister in London and then pick up sunny_stace and go from there.

Then again, I could just drive the 25hrs to WDW when you are there! ;)

Mall of America or WDW? Both are very apealing! :thumbsup2

I can't believe you are going to loose both of your Disney Stores.

Soon there won't be any left. :upsidedow

Memom how can you pass up a $73 flight?
I could only dream of that kind of deal.

I feel like she is getting too big too. I really want this to slow down some because I know she is our last! I figured you'd recognize that Santa. One of these days I swear we are going to bump into each other at Target or Meijer. (I must admit, I do keep my eyes peeled!)

I've always wanted to go the Mall of America. In addition to getting to meet you, there is a woman on another message board I'm on who lives near there. It could be a double whammy meet-up for me!

That was taken one Sunday morning as I was trying to find the right Christmas card photo. We ended up having to attend a later mass at church, but I think it was the first time I had three happy campers at photo time!

I like the mommy-daughter picture. I love the one where the boys have her in a cart. There's no telling what all they're going to have her doing as she grows up! What a sweet little surprise she is! :lovestruc

I think those are pretty darn sweet too. I was going to only put up photos from January, but those were both December photos that could not be skipped. It was my dad's idea to put Aileen in the cart and then the boys went careening around on their hardwood floors with her. She had that terrified baby look on her face, but had a blast! I love the photo of the two of us too. I am generally behind the camera so I cherish each photo I have with my kiddos.

I want to be Facebook friends with you guys too! I am Margaret Murphy and I think this link works?
http://www.facebook.com/moparop?ref=name

If not, I am the Margaret Murphy in Cincinnati with my wedding photo as a profile pic!

I would love to go to Mall of America. If you ever make it up to Boston, I'd be glad to show you around. ;)

Moparop, your kids are SO cute. I love the pictures of Aileen, she is beautiful!

Nope, it's a Radisson hotel...http://www.radisson.com/hotels/mnblmmal/optional.page We've never stayed there, but it looks really pretty nice.

I just priced a room. :scared1: It BETTER be nice, it's on par with the rack rate of the WL (and then some)! There has gotta be discounts somewhere.... We can dig into that should this plan come into fruition.

Love the double whammy idea! She could even join our crazy group if she didn't mind.

That is funny about having to go to a later service! But hey, YOU GOT THE PIC! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

I just added you as a friend on Facebook as well!

Mop - I love the pictures of your kiddos they are so precious!

On a kid related note. Bella went to the doctor on Monday for her 9 month checkup and weighed a whopping 14 pounds and 1 ounce. For those of you with little kids you know how small that is. She is not even on the growth chart. The average 9 month old girl weighs 20 pounds. She eats like a pig and never stops moving so they cancel each other out. Other than that she is super healthy and is threatening to let go and walk very soon!

I can't believe what a peanut Bella is! I bet it's going to be super cute to see that teeny-tiny little girl walking around.

14lbs....when I had Emily, there was a lady who had a 13lb boy...can you imagine that? I bet she will take off before you know it. :thumbsup2

Wow that's a pretty convincing ad for M of A!!! I love everything except how far away it is from me.....well, I will keep it in mind! :goodvibes

Put me down for the Mall of America meet, that's only 4 hours from me :teeth:

Oh, and Brook, I am a science geek raising geekey kids...a magnet store sounds awesome :upsidedow Is the cheese store still there? I haven't been in years but that was always a favorite of mine

MOA is only a little over 17 hours for me....;) but a CHEESE store? Now you're talking! :cool1:
