Well that's good news! Who wouldn't like an extra day at Disney What a good daughter you have!
She's a pretty okay girl!
Great news about your Mother's Day weekend.
It is. It was going to be a super short trip, but this gives us a little more breathing room. If we're ready to hit the free breakfast at the hotel at 6, we can be at Pop by lunchtime and have the full day ahead.
Hey MeMom and Jill...rumor is they will be starting the Wishes dessert party again in the next few days. I'm thinking of going on Saturday the 8th...want to join us? Lots of desserts and tons of fruit from what I have seen! (plus some pretty nice company )
That might be a good place for us to plan a meet, but I don't know if we'll do the dessert party. I know it would be fun, but I can't see us paying that much just for a dessert bar. We'd be more likely to do it if it consisted of finger foods and desserts so we could count it as a meal. The fruit sounds good, though. We're not really making any solid plans, because we want to be able to see Trent and Jamie whenever they are able to be over there with us. Let us know if you're going, and we can try to plan on meeting you outside before you go in or afterward.
Ya and I fainted when I saw em!!!
I remember Trent texting with
Heather, and she said something about a family sitting on the lawn. I waved at the camera from the lawn and said, "That's us. Hi,
Heather!" I don't know if she heard it or not.
Such great news about the new surgeon, I'm glad Jill found someone that she feels confident in.
How exciting that you are going to get more time on your Mother's Day weekend! What a nice surprise!
Have fun planning that birthday party!

We've got to get into gear on this party planning. I did get a log for the kids to sit on for pictures.

I wish I had BIG Pooh, Tigger, and Piglet. I wish I could run over to a
Disney Store!!!
Jill, Glad you found a great doctor for Bella!
She seems very pleased. She gets to reward herself right after the surgery with a Mary Poppins play and a Disney trip.
Hey MeMom, I just got all caught up. I've been off the DIS for a few weeks. My aunt(my mom's sister, Josh and Jeremy's mom) passed away last tuesday at the age of 58. We found out at the beginning of March that she wasn't going to make it. She had cancer and she was in really bad shape and couldn't even get out of bed. She's had cancer 4 different times, starting in 1994. She was so, so strong and kept fighting right until her last breath. We got a call last Sunday night saying that she probably wouldn't make it through the night. We got to the hospital around 1 AM(technically Monday morning) and she held on until Tuesday morning at 6:25. We were at the hospital for around 30 hours.
We had the funeral on Saturday, and it's amazing how many people were there. She touched a lot of lives. I'm glad she's not in pain anymore. She was suffering so much. But this has been really hard on all of us. My poor grandma had to go to her oldest daughter's funeral. I hate that Kazin and Caleb won't get to know their grandma. And I lost my amazing aunt. We were really close. Jeremy told me the other day that I was like the daughter she never had.
There is one good thing that came out of this. I think it brought us all closer. Especially those 30 hours in the hospital.
And now it's time for a happy paragraph!
We're all getting back into our normal routines now. I think we all felt better after the funeral, because it was such a nice service. I spent almost the entire reception with Kazin His grandpa conveniently wanted a baby break once Kazin was eating a chocolate chip cookie and had chocolate all over his face and hands

He's walking now. We were walking around for a while and he was holding my finger in his little hand
Anyway, now that my life has calmed down again, I'll be resuming my TR this week!
We were talking about you last weekend. I'm sorry for your sadness. Families are wonderful, and it is hard to lose someone who is an integral part of your lives.
Treasure your time with your little guys. In all of your simple fun, you are building sweet memories.
An extra day at disney is always great in my book
Yep. I was surprised...and very happy.
Your Mother's Day trip will be so much fun! I can't wait to hear all about it! I think you should get one of the special Mother's Day pins to commemorate it!
WDW Mother's Day Pin
We shall see.
I should have my income tax back, so maybe I will have a tiny little bit of souvenir money. Most of it is going to pay the rooms for the summer trip, though.
HUH!?!? So are they just going to take all of the merchandise away?? What the heck are the resort stores and the WOD store going to have in it!!??

Jill - I honestly can't remember if I responded on FB, but I am VERY glad you found someone you are comfortable with!! I'm sure you fell 100,000x better
So......picture taker but not a poser huh??
2 weeks before or 2 years after
They're just getting more generic. The economy, I guess, but it's a bummer. Pop used to have t-shirts and several resort logo items, as did the All Stars. I'm glad I have a few mementos, since they no longer exist. I think they should at least keep doing resort merchandise for the deluxes.
Drew will let his picture be taken more than I will, but he prefers being on the other side of the camera.
Woo! Getting to WDW sooner sounds good to me!
Yep. Jill will be doing the driving, so whenever she wants to stop to sleep and then whenever she is ready to roll again, I'll be happy to oblige. We'll probably stop in Perry, since that's the halfway point. We can either stay for the free breakfast and get to WDW about 11:30 or leave at four or five and get there earlier. Jill can decided what she feels like on that day. She wants the girls to be asleep a lot of the time, so leaving early sounds good, but then again, so does a free breakfast. She can make that call when the time comes.
