Rides you will absolutely, positively NOT ride?

Mission Space - Only did it because DS (10) wanted to but never again. I didn't get sick but I didn't feel "right" for several hours after. Definitely not worth it to me.

I'm a thrill-ride chicken. So the ones I have not ridden and probably never WILL ride are:

1. Space Mountain
2. Splash Mountain (I can't take big drops)
3. Tower of Terror
4. Mission Space (didn't exist on my last trip)

I was debating on whether or not to ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad on my last trip, but I couldn't gather up enough courage. Maybe this time? For some reason, I really want to ride Rock N'RollerCoaster, but I'll probably chicken out at the last minute. :scared:

My dd is only 3, so she doesn't make fun of me....yet. But I have a feeling she probably takes after me anyway. I took her to Storyland in NH this summer and she got scared on the spinning teacups ride and told me she never wants to ride it again.

I confess...I am a chicken when it comes to thrill rides! I have never nor will I ever ride:

Tower of Terror
RnR
Mission: Space

I also get very dizzy from those spinning/simulator rides, so I do not like to ride Star Tours, Body Wars, Teacups or Primeval Whirl.

I do go on Splash Mountain, but anticipating the drop at the end is the only thing I can think about throughout the whole ride, so I miss all of the good stuff. I also get butterflies before I go on Space Mountain, but once I am on I enjoy it and I love BTMR!

My dh will go on anything except the spinning rides. We both joke around about who is going to ride the teacups with DD (2) when she gets older and asks to go on!

Not interested in Astro Orbiters. Not a big fan of going around and around (I'm getting queasy just writing this), and I sure don't want to do it way up in the air.

Until the last trip, I said no way to the teacups. But I rode it, and here's why. I had 2 of my dd and one of their friends with me late one night and they were dying to ride it. We walked up and there was no line at all! So I let the three of them get in a cup by themselves and spin to their hearts content, and I rode solo. Here's what I discovered. If you grab the wheel and pull as hard as you can in the opposite direction of spinning the cup, you hardly spin at all! That's the only way I'll ever ride teacups again. :)

Tea Cups, Dumbo, Speedway. No interest at all. Have no problem with RNR or TOT. Mission Space a big maybe.

I will ride anything at least once. There is absolutely no ride at Disney or anwhere else for that matter in which I won't ride multiple times. My DH, on the other hand, now that is a different story. We will not ride any ride that spins.

I love the tea cups, so on our last trip I broke down and rode it by myself, but it's not as fun with only one person spinning. And Mission Space...thank goodness they had the singles line for that ride. I rode it alone, because my DH was leary of the ride, because it spins. So, I rode it and advised him against riding it...I didn't want him to risk getting sick.

I just love thrill rides!!!

The only ride at Disney that I haven't been on is TOT, I'm still trying to work up my nerve. Now after I finally do it I may say I am NEVER going on that again but I might love it. Then again, I may never work up the nerve to go on it in the first place! LOL

Mission Space is one that I could take or leave, mostly leave. I did it once, thought it was amazing but I felt so claustrophobic (never had that problem before) that if the choice were left to me I probably wouldn't do it again.

In the NEVER category:
TOT
Astro orbiter
Space Mountain

In the HIGHLY DOUBTFUL category:
RNR
Primeval Whirl

I won't ride Space Mountain because it gives me a headache. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad may be added to my list; I am giving it one more try and if I get a headache from it...bye bye! I also refuse to do Summit Plummit at BB!

I am as big of a disney fan as anyone, but there are certain rides I just cannot handle.

1) Tea cups - rode as a kid and was so sick I am scarred for life.

2) Tower of Terror - don't know why, but something about it puts such fear in me I don't think I would make it through the line.

3) Mission Space - heard it isn't kind to those with motion sickness and I have a tough enough time getting through Body Wars.

I will not ride:
Mission Space- too tiny in there
RnRc- no upside down for me
TOT- Too much of a chicken to try

I'm a BIG chicken .... I won't ride .....

Mission Space
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
Tower of Terror
Space Mountain (did it once...never again)

I will, however, do Splash Mountain!:boat:

DD (7) wants to try Tower of Terror this year but neither DH nor I want to try it!! :scared:

Right now the only ride I avoid is the tea cups.:crazy2: I used to avoid ToT, but tried it this August. It was a piece of cake. Love Mission: Space!

Interesting comments about Body Wars

I'm fine with about anything, but DW's list is quite long. The same is true of different foods, come to think of it.

:crazy2:

How could I have forgotten Body Wars. Actually I think I tried to block it out. I was sooooo sick...had to leave the park.
Not pretty:(

I have been on the Backstage Magic tour a few years after after riding Body Wars. Found out one of the reasons SO MANY people get sick. They pump warm air into your simulator so that you feel like you are inside of the human body. SO on top of it baouncing around & watching the screen move...you feel warm air. YUCK!

Gee, you guys are reminding me of more rides I won't ride:

Tea cups
Body wars
astro orbiter
Primeval whirl
Aladdin's carpet
the Carousel

Because I'm the queen of motion sickness:faint: I won't ride any of the above.

There is only one ride in all of Walt Disney World that I refuse to ride. That is TOT!!! :scared: :scared1:

I don't like drops and I don't like heights. I've pretty much done all the other rides and I'm fine with them....even Splash which I actually love. TOT freaks me out......

I WILL NOT ride the New Fake FIGMENT ride.

I ride POOH, but only under protest.

Bring back the Original Figment and Toad!

Body Wars - not because it makes me sick, but because I blew out my neck the one and only time I rode it. Migraine headaches for 2 weeks afterwards and the inability to turn your head for 3 months certainly isn't worth it just to go on this ride. I also avoid Star Tours at DLR ...... same ride, same result.
