Ride Wait Times on MDE?

How accurate are these times listed on the MDE? Right now, Stitches Escape at MK says 40 minutes. Space Mountain says 90 minutes?

I'd say they're accurate with regard to the posted wait time in the park, but may not necessarily be accurate with regard to actual wait times. Space Mountain at 90 minutes in the middle of the afternoon in the summer doesn't seem unreasonable, but Stitch being 40 does seem unlikely.

I used to think that. Two weeks ago, we were in Tomorrowland during morning EMH. We saw Buzz's posted wait time go from 5, to 10, to 20, to 25. When I looked on MDE, it was posted at 40. I have no idea where the 40 came from.

Disney has guests carry a "card" through the line periodically to determine the wait time. Let's say the last "card" went through 20 minutes ago. People, at least we do, look at wait times and head for attractions that have shorter waits if they are nearby. Fifteen minutes later, the line for Big Thunder is a 40 minute wait when it had recently shown a 25 minute wait and the next "card" is still five minutes away.

I can't seem to find the wait times anymore on the app. I was always able to see it but now I can't . Where are people finding them?

This gives me some hope for when we're there, because it's a bit discouraging to look and see every ride 40 minutes plus!

I'm unsure if you were responding to my previous post. I might not have been clear. At the same time MDE posted a 40 minute wait, the sign outside the ride said 20 or 25 minutes.

I understand how the card system works and its limitations. Because we rode 3 times in 30 minutes (in addition to spending time in the gift shop), I am confident that no one waited more than 10 minutes to board Buzz as of 8:45 that morning, despite MDE showing a wait time of 40 minutes. At that particular moment, I believe that the wait time posted on MDE was coming from somewhere other than the card system.

At the top of the screen where it says Attractions. You then click the funnel icon at the lower right and you can select the park.
