Good morning all.

A funny morning on the riddle.

This being busy at work is a real pain in the butt. It is cutting into my DIS time.

Last day of school today but they aren't doing anything as exams were over yesterday. DD went to finish painting a mural on a wall. (Not for a grade though.) DS is in bed.

I sent a PM with my guess.

Ditto for Matt too! Up here the safety patrol kids wear the whole vest that day glo yellow and orange, just like the construction guys.

DblD, I'm so glad to hear that your Mom is doing so well! I'll keep her in my prayers that she continues to do so well.

I was kind of surprised when I read the riddle this morning. I expected it to be a toughy because Len was about it. I would have thought this one would be right up his alley!

Exams start a week from today for my DS, and 2 weeks from today is the last day for DD.

Forgot to mention... today is DD's last day of school... she is JAZZED!!! To top it off... she is leaving this afternoon to spend a long weekend with her best friend and her family on a houseboat on Lake Roosevelt.

I think she is going to have a great summer.

Sorry (I guess) to say that I have no SKUNK stories to share, but one of my FAVORITE BRADY BUNCH episodes was when Bobby was Safety Monitor (otherwise known as "TATTLETALE")! He surely wore his armband with pride!!!

Laura-Glad things are looking up for your Mom....I have a lot of heart surgery experience as both my Dad (bypass 20 years ago) and my DH (valve replacement to fix a congenital defect 6 years ago) have gone through it. I sympathize with all you're going through!

Morning Riddlers

This one came right to me this fine morning. We are haing a cold snap, yesterday it only got to 98! I can't believe it. We should be at 104, and that few degree difference drops the pool temp down to turtle time.

Dbld - great news about your mom. Continued good thoughts and PD for a full recovery.

I don't have skunks in my area, the benefits of living in a desert. I haven't noticed any safety patrol members, either. Could be that I don't drive during school start and stop hours, I'll try to be more observant in August when it's time to go back! I believe my 2 younger sisters were in that club, but got kicked out for some infraction. It was like a police department, boy oh boy, you didn't want to get on the wrong side of the patrol person!

Neat to have a real celeb at HS graduation, they are usually such yawners.

Well, off to get ready for the last day of work for the week. If I do what I left yesterday, I will have nothing for next week. Or the week after!

Look at that...pants and a happy birthday wish both made it here before I did! I had a lovely day yesterday, celebrating with family and friends....just couldn't get on the computer at all for some reason, it was acting funky for me...other than that, the day was great!

Adam Sandler must have been quite amusing at the graduation. Did they let you videotape any of it? What did the "graduates" think of him?
