Yes got it from making offers on dvcforless, it got taken off the broker site immediately after seller agreed on offer. It was listed much higher than our agreement

I got one 2 years back @ $80 pp that was listed @ $107 so I know it can be done.

Same here well this one was listed in the 100s too and same as my $82 one i bought, so you just never know what will hit. This gem was sitting on the market since last year so I guess they just got tired and I got lucky 🤑
 

All I know is @Girlstar30 is inspiring me to get much more aggressive with my (numerous already rejected) offers.... Especially with SSR and AKV...
How long have you been offering for? I had so many rejected too, but every time one came up I just kept on with the plan. I was trying for aulani in the 70s too and they def got snippy with me for that lol!

But I would just message the same broker when a new one came up like we never talked before and like they didnt advise me to offer more previously 🤣🤣 No shame in my game 🤣🤣 Something bound to hit eventually I figure or maybe just annoy them and they want me to go away 🤣🤣

Ive never used this broker before, its a lesser known one and im worried maybe theyre not as experienced, but i think im just being paranoid. Someone told me a horror story before, so im a little scared about that too 😬 But I guess that can happen anywhere. I usually stick to the top 2 with a preference for Fidelity... but cheap is cheap!

wow! $77 and sellers paying 26 dues is a great deal. I don't think I've seen anything under 80 at SSR including stripped contracts. Hope it breezes through ROFR for you!

Thank you I will admit that I am getting really nervous and paranoid with everyone's positive comments, although it makes me really really happy, I almost feel like Disney is reading and will take it away from me 🤣🤣🤣

Trying to manage my emotions and leave the broker the hell alone (not that they can do anything about it 🤣🤣) and stop checking my emails but its hard 🤣🤣

I guess we will find out soon enough what my fate is. It seems unfair to work on a deal for a while and the possibility of it being easily taken, but all is fair in dvc and rofr 😪

Ive gotten better at it with everything ive learned here. Each contract was better than the last and now its going to be over 🤣🤣

I wish I would have known what I knew now when I went for my first contract, I didn't know about asking for maint fees to be waived until after contract #2. But overall I don't think I did too bad, ssr has been good to me 😀 🐎

Could be way out of touch, but in your scenario I think it should almost be assumed the seller should pay the maintenance fees.

The use year is February, which gives you until next January, unless you bank the points, to use them. By the time you get the points to use, you’ll be under 11 months. If it’s a resort that books up quickly at 11 months, you’re basically screwed.

Again, could be out of touch. But that’s why I agreed to pay the 2026 maintenance fees for my contract with a December use year. Felt there would be no rush to use or bank them.

I agree with your sentiment, but sadly most don't see it that way...

Glad @Girlstar30 was able to get this deal over the line...
 
Yes they def dont see it that way. My offer was low key snubbed by the broker telling me they would consider "entertaining it" if I paid all the fees.

Since I just bought vdh and I didnt really need the points (and fear of wife being pissed lol) I said if they pay the mf its a done deal. I was made to feel a bit greedy with the response after, but it does make sense to me why the seller wants to be reimbursed. I would too if I wasnt using the points and it was in the first half of the year.

But I also see that this may not be fully wrapped up until May id guess and someone losing nearly "half the year " to go would perhaps expect not to pay mf. All of my vacations for the first half of the year are booked so this works out perfect for a possible september wdw trip (I wouldn't mind staying at ssr and okw for the first time) or holidays at disneyland at vgc and banking what remains. I really hope this pans out as this one would be a perfect match for us🤞✨🌈
