Morning, folks! I'm sleepy this morning - dd graduated from high school last night and I was up past my bedtime. The ceremony was very moving (lots of great speeches - NOT the norm for our graduations ) and they had Adam Sandler as a surprise guest speaker. It was definitely a night they'll remember.

We went to the new house last night and partially installed the air conditioning in the kennel.

lol He was more than a hoot! My stomach hurt from laughing so much. His cousin was one of the valedictorian's for the class. Tyler either inherited the family's comedic talent or Adam lent a hand cuz Tyler's 'speechifying' sounded very familiar. Can you imagine Thanksgiving with that family?

Morning! It's the first muggy morning in a long while and I can't get moving today.

I did the chaperone-thing last week.....pre-hormonal 5th graders! Yesterday Matt came home with the nicest card from the class thanking me!

Big smiles at our house today. Matt was named to the Jr. Police (translation: saftey patrol) for 6th grade! He's wanted to do this for so long and he worried that he wouldn't be chosen. He gets to go "on duty" for the final 2 days of school this year to learn the ropes.

LOL, OK! That song came to my mind last night too! We even sang it on the way home! Unfortunately, the neighbor's dog was over last night, and she smelled like skunk, so I think she must have rolled in it!! I will never understand why dogs think they have to wear dead perfume!
