One of our best skunk stories was when our DD was working at ValleyFair, a local amusement park. She usually worked past midnight, and one night DH went to pick her up and she jumped in our new van smelling VERY strongly of skunk!Diane - gotta love that skunk smell. Reminds me of a story from college: I borrowed my sorority sister's car and went to eat w/ another sister. When we were heading home, we passed a dead skunk and the smell suddenly became the new scent in her car. Needless to say, we never told her and quickly handed back her keys.
She had gotten sprayed by one as she was walking back to the parking lot. They made it home with the windows open, and he made her leave everything out on the porch that night. He thought we could just dispose of the clothes and shoes in the morning, but it rained overnight. Believe it or not...the rain took away the smell, even on the shoes!!! Talk about acid rain!!
And the breakfast spot looks wonderful! I think I might high tail it out of here and spend my day there in that wonderful bedroom instead

My belts were the day glo orange (very similar to what Bernie posted) and they didn't bother folding them... just hung them up daily. I moved schools before 6th grade (when they let you really do it permanently) so I only had a week of that.
morning, riddlers. I'm off and running. Poor DD is out in the rain all day at our local Children's Festival! (now that's one reason not to do field trips
!
