I must say I am clueless right now on this riddle. I might let it stew for a while as Bernie suggested though.

Glad to hear that you are okay Gina. We had trouble with our cable on Saturday for a little while after the first snow storm came through. So far (knock on wood) we've been lucky and haven't had trouble since.

Bernie, two blowers on the fritz!!! Now that sounds like something I would be dealing with too! At least so far our shovel still works

Diane - that's wonderful news. We are going through the same thing with my son right now. He's really struggling to find his place in the world. We know that it is entirely his decision - we hope that we've given him enough of a background and support so that he makes the right decisions. Ultimately though, the choice is his.

LOL, Elaine! Yep - the good old shovels are still working just fine. And so is my back!

Good morning, Riddlers! My kids have school today, because in Illinois - Lincoln's Birthday is the state holiday.

It's cold here, with ice and snow, but so far we haven't been dumped on like those of you out east...knock on wood!

I'll give the riddle some more thought.

Hi everyone! Probably about a foot of snow here. DH is staying home from work. Good thing, or else I'd have to shovel the driveway. School was closed anyway due to the holiday. We were supposed to take DS and DD and their 2 cousins to get their picture taken this morning as a surprise for Grandma for her birthday, but looks like we have to reschedule.

I think I have a guess for today's riddle, but I don't feel very confident about it for some reason. Gina - lol at your new IHSEIM suggestion!
