I think that a lot of our American riddlers must be taking advantage of the day off school for the kids and having a bit of a sleep in today!

I'm off for the week, on furlough, though I have to get some work done today.

The snow has started here in CT w/ Blizzard warnings up .... I decided I'm not going in to work to day for fear of not making it home ..... last time we had a big storm like this there were people stranded on the highways for 7-8 hours ..... so I'm not going to risk it .... they'll probably send us home early anyway (which is usually right at the height of any storm !) Expecting 1.5 to 2 ft

Good morning everyone! It is a holiday today - but I am still up with the chickens because I am going on a shopping trip today with my best friend (Briarfoxinwa here on the DIS!) in the Tri-Cities. I couldn't sleep so I ended up getting up even EARLIER than I normally do. What's up with that?!

We are BALMY warm compared to most of you guys. It is 4 am here and it is 38 degrees. It is expected to reach a high of 45 later today. No snow... just some rain (maybe).

Need to think about the riddle some more. Just poured a cup of coffee - which should help the brain fog to clear.

Very nice to see LTM!

We did have an excellent turnout on Saturday at LarsCon! The bad weather went south of most of us. We did lose our helenabear tho to the snow. (I think without clear roads, she can't break those limits she so much loves to do!) Yes Elaine, I will continue the 'digs' to help you 'shovel' out from all your snow! You were missed a great deal & pour Laura was a lone ya!

Morning all! I am taking a sick day today because of the snow. We are under a level 2 snow emergency (don't go out unless you have to... and I don't HAVE to go), our library is closed and so is Ohio State. When OSU closes I know better than to try to get into work... I do all city driving (well suburb driving) and with the holiday, none of the roads are clear at all. I am so sick of snow!!!!!! I know we've had well over a foot of this stuff this weekend and it hasn't even stopped snowing yet

I think I need to look at this riddle some more though. I hope everyone stays safe and warm today

Last night we talked to my BIL who lives in VA and works right down by the capital. He said folks there were really freaking out about all the snow AND the terrorist threats.

morning everyone.....


still a bit fuzzy this morning,no clue yet on the riddle.....kids have school because winter vacation is next week, so I need to get moving before Cain and Abel get here for the morning.

Disappointing finish for the #8 car yesterday, but at least it was a DEI car in the winner's circle. As much as I'm a Jr. fan, I was really pulling for Michael to win a 500 without the shadow of Earnhardt's death.

Looks like it will start snowing here by mid afternoon, probably ONLY about 8-10.....we're on the northern edge of this doozie of a storm.
Old Farmer's Almanac predicted it though........*shakes head*
